Chapter 8

  CHAPTER 7:

This time their mission was in a construction site were they had to deal with the drug mafiya. The team was out numbered. But they were enough to tackle them. There was heavy firing on both sides.

Raj was moving ahead taking each one on the way. He never saw the risk that lay ahead of him. One goon was hiding behind a pillar. But he was still moving ahead. 

Arjun was a few pace behind him when he saw a person aiming a knife at Raj. He moved ahead and knocked Raj out of the way and shot that man. But the knife had passed closer to Arjun's upper arm and was bleeding. He lost control and slipped at the edge of the building. Raj saw this and cried out "ARJUN'" he dived to catch his arm. 

Arjun was hanging at the end of the building and Raj was holding onto his injured hand.

"Hold on Arjun.. I am here.. please hold on.." Raj kept telling him. Arjun was happy to see the concern in his friend's face. Raj pulled him up and saved Arjun. When he was up, Raj looked if Arjun was alright. He was relieved and angry. He held onto his arms "paagal hogaye hai kya? Kya zaroorath the mere samne aane mein? Kuch ho jatha tho? Stupid'."

Arjun was so happy. He immediately hugged Raj and he hugged back. The whole team was witnessing this. Sameer was out of the world. They hugged for some time and broke up. Raj felt awkward. 

He started moving away when Arjun caught his hands. "Please'"

"nahi Arjun.. not yet..mein ab bhi tumhe maaf nahi kar paya hai.. Give me some more time." He turned to Riya. "Riya.. first aid box leke aao.." she brought it. "Take care of him'" he looked back at Arjun and walked away.

Arjun was still standing the same position. She called him but he didn't hear. "SIR' please let me do it" she cried out. He came out of his trance but didn't allow her to touch him. 

"please sir.. blood bohot beh raha hai.. pleae let me do it.. agar aapke liye tho na sahi.. at least aapke dost ke liye'" Arjun froze. She moved closer to him and made him sit on a platform. she was dressing in his wounds but he was sitting still. She kept looking at him, wishing to share his sorrows. Even after completing the bandage he didn't know it. He was just lending his hands to her lost in his thoughts. She slowly took his hands in hers and held them. she wished to take away all the sorrows in his life.. He looked at her eyes. She was heart broken to see a lone tear in his eyes. She kept looking at him "its ok sir' sab teekh ho jayega.. wo aapko zaroor maaf karega.." they were lost in each others eyes. But they didn't know that Raj was watching them. He couldn't bear to see Arjun in this way. He wished to go and to be with him. But somewhere, his heart didn't allow him.

He wiped his tears and turned around and found himself infront of Sameer. "ab bas Raj.. bohot hogaya.. forgive him.. usse hamare zaroorath hai."

"ha Rathod.. I'll speak to him soon.. I promise"

  They were going back in SUV. Raj's home was nearby. So they first went to drop him. He got down in front of his home. He could see Arjun almost suffocating.  Rathod noticed it too. "its now or never.. " he thought.

"Raj .. Ridhi ghar pe hai na?"

"ha'" Rathod got down from the SUV.  "Yaha thak aake use mile bina kaise ja sakthe hai? "

All got down except Arjun. "Rawte tum nahi aoge?" Arjun looked enquiringly at Raj's eyes.

"Sameer you all are most welcome.. but ek problem.hai.. she doesn't know yet that we are working together again.. "
