Chapter 7

CHAPTER 6:

Sameer  was in the SUV lost in his thoughts. They had one hour ride to reach the destination. He looked at Arjun who was driving beside him. In the rear glass he could see Raj in his own world. He couldn't believe how much distance came in between them. He was thinking of the days when they were together.

Flashback:

Raj, his parents and his Dada- Dadi were living at Raipur. Theirs was a well known family with a great business empire which was lead by the males of the family. 

Raj was 8 when his mother told that he would be having a little one to play with him soon.. he was so happy. But it didn't extend for a  long time. His Pappa was killed in an accident. They were shattered by the news. 

But after a few months, his sister came to this world- Ridhima, the cutest baby he ever saw in his life time. But his mumma was very weak due to the stress of his father's death and due to some complications during the delivery. She passed away when Ridhi was just 5 months old. After that he became his Ridhi's brother, parents, her best friend, even her shadow.

When Ridhi was one year old, his Dada's friend and family came to stay with him. Mr and Mrs Rathod with his son, Sameer. The boys had instant bonding. They spend their whole time playing when Ridhi was sleeping or else they would be with her. Sameer loved the way Raj held his sis. When Raj came to know about it, he offered her as Sameer's sister. Now Ridhi had 2 brothers.

Sam and Raj were sent together to boarding school. Sam's parents and Raj's grandparents were there to bid them goodbye. But what took the heart out of every parent over there was the love that the boys showed to little Ridhi. They couldn't part her. She was literally pulled away from Raj at the end and she kept on crying.

At the first night at boarding, boys were trying to make friends and some showing what they brought with them. Some boasting on their family and so on.. Raj and Sam were always together and was trying to keep by themselves, still not being able to bear the pain of being away from Ridhi. 

That was when Sam noticed a boy sitting alone in his bed gloomily. They went by him. They were upset by his sad looks. 

"hi I am Raj Malhotra. Or ye mere friend Sameer Rathod. Tumhara naam kya hai?" Raj asked the boy but he didn't say anything. Raj sat by him. "its ok .. apne mummy pappa ka yaad aa raha hai? Its ok.. next chutti mein milne ja sakthe hai.. "

"mere mummy papa nahi hai.. mein orphanage se aaraha hu.. waha Father ne hi muche yaha bhej diya.. padne keliye.." boy opened up.

"its ok.. mere bhi mummy papa nahi hai' mein samaj sakta hu.." the boy looked at Raj. Raj smiled at him. "don't worry. Subke koi na koi problems hai' but solution bhi hai.. mere paas parents nahi hai, par ek behen hai. Or Dada-dadi bhi. Sam ke koi bhai-behen nahi hai, to meine use meri behen ko share kiya. Ab hum dono ke pass behen hai. Ab tum' tumhe lagtha hai ki tum akela ho.. tho hum hai na..? ab wo problem bhi solved'" the boy smiled at him.

"so friends?" both Raj and Sam lend their hand. He took both their hands. "friends!!!"

"tho tumahara naam kya hai ?"

"Arjun' Arjun Suryakant Rawte.."

"ok .. Arjun.. ab hum theen friends.. or hamare ek behen..Ridhima'ok..?"

That was the beginning of their friendship. Then what happened now? How everything changed?
