Chapter 2

Part 2 

Shiva and Raavi were standing too close to each as the song ended lost in each other outside Gombi and Dhara’s bedroom. 

Unable to think properly due to the proximity, Shiva leaned in eyeing her lips. Seeing him lean in, Raavi closed her eyes in anticipation. Shiva’s insecurities were back. She didn’t want to marry him. Is this the heat of the moment thing? He needs to back off.

Raavi did not feel Shiva moving and hence she opened her eyes and saw his hesitation. She closed the distance and placed her lips on his letting him take the lead. As Shiva felt her lips on his, he felt he was intoxicated and the kiss turned out to be wild. 

They needed each other. They needed assurance that they had each other. They needed validation that they were loved. Two souls with different insecurities. Raavi’s hand slid inside his vest in response Shiva pulled her even more closer from her waist. He undid the zip of her kurta and roamed his hand under her kurta. Raavi moved closer if that was even possible to give him full access.

Shiva slid her kurta from one shoulder and started leaving wet kisses there. 

Suddenly the lights went off in Gombi and Dhara’s room which caught their attention. Shiva and Raavi suddenly self aware went back and hit the window making noise.

“Koi hai wahaan?” Gombi called out

Shiva and Raavi looked at each other and ran to their room hand in hand. Once they reached their room they closed the door quickly and could not control their laughter.

“Full déjà vu ho gaya” Raavi laughed 

“Sachi” Shiva laughed with her but his laughter died has he looked at Raavi

Her kurta half fallen. She was unaware and making him go crazy. He neared her and Raavi kept on looking him not breaking the eye contact. He slid his hand from her neck to her exposed shoulder he kissed a while back now making Raavi self aware. 

Raavi closed her eyes and tightly held her kurta being nervous. Shiva caught the shoulder end of her kurta again and Raavi quickly looked at him. She saw desire in his eyes for her. She was happy and nervous at the same time. 

Shiva was happy Raavi did not move back. However, he saw how nervous she was. He was sure now that he loved her dearly from the very start. He wants her but her happiness and consent matter to him the most. He pulled the kurta up covering her shoulder and hugged her. She hugged him back smiling. 

Raavi got a bit startled as pulled the zip of her kurta up. He broke the hug, cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

“I’m sorry” he whispered 

Shiva was about to go to the washroom to freshen up when Raavi caught his wrist. He looked back at her surprised.

“Sorry kyu bola?”

“Vo.. mai.. vahaan bahar aise hall mein” 

“Tu mera best husband hai” she pulled him to herself and placed her lips on his

Raavi pulled back staring at him trying to understand if he was ok with the intimacy. 

“Tu meri ek lauti par best wife hai.” He smiled and pecked her lips 

There was a awkward silence. They both were standing so close with each other. Both of them did not want to move but they didn’t know how to move ahead too. Raavi had been heartbroken once. Shiva wasn’t Raavi’s first choice. These things still lingered in their minds.

“Mai..vo... Shiva...”

“Kya tu iss shadi ko mauka?” Shiva started unable to take it ahead

“Haa” 

As soon as she said yes, Shiva smiled so bright which bought a big smile on her face too. 

“Thank you Raavi”

“Thank you Shiva”

“Raavi..sach na?”

“Shiva.. mai tuje phir se kiss karu?”

“Haa”

Raavi came close. It was suddenly very awkward since they had known each other for so long. They were too conscious of each other and their surroundings.

Raavi awkwardly came ahead and kissed him and due to the force they both fell on the bed. They both looked each other embarrassed understanding both were inexperienced. 

Shiva came near her and kissed her lightly sucking onto her lips finally awkwardness washing away. They looked at each other as they parted and sat upright on the bed smiling.  Raavi hugged Shiva and he gladly took her into his arms.

“Hum kitne ajeeb haina.” Shiva smiled

“Bahut” Raavi looked at him

“Tu Kuch kehna chahti hai?”

“Mai kuch sunna bhi chahti hoon”

“Tu muje bahut pasand hai chipkali” he smiled understanding her unsaid words 

“Tu bhi muje bahut pasand hai bhoothnath” Raavi hugged him again

“Waise tuje nai lagta hume practice karni chaiye?”

“Kis ki”

“Kiss ki?”

“Shiva? Besharam!”

“Mai? Besharam? Sach chipkali?” He smirked 

“Haa tu. Kaisi baatein kar rha hai.” 

“Tu chinta mat kar. Koi jaldi nai hai. Ye hamari relationship hai. Hum slow jayenge.”

“Kya? Aur kitna slow jayenge? Itne saal toh ho gaye.” Raavi blurted and immediately blushed

“Acha toh madam ko slow nai jaana? Phir ye friends friends kya tha?” 

“Muje lag raha tha ki tu muje pasand karta hai par mai darr gai thi. Last time assume kiya tha aur bahut buri tarah se dil toota tha.” 

Raavi had tears in her eyes. Shiva kissed them away. 

“Mai toh tera pati hoon. Mera pas kahaan option tha. Jahan confidence se tu bata sakti thi vahan chup thi aur jahan Dev tera sirf dost tha tune dhindhora peet diya. Tu muje kabhi samaj nai aayegi.” He laughed

“Tu bhi toh bol sakta tha na.” 

“Kaise bolta. Tune hamesha kaha ki tu mujse shadi nai karna chahti thi. Nafrat karti hai. Phir hum dost ban gaye par isse ye baat toh nai badalti ki tu iss kirane ki dukaan se shadi nai karna chahti thi.”

“Shiva... mai bhi toh teri biwi hoon. Shadi karli par biwi ke haq nai dene.” Raavi stood up angry

“Aisa nai hai. Muje toh lagta hai mai tuje bachpan se pasand karta hoon.” 

“Kya? Kuch bhi. Mujse rishta toda tha tune bachpan mein phir kabhi theek se baat nai ki. Ab kehta hai pasand karta tha muje? Sach mein nafrat karta toh kya hota mera?”

Shiva laughed and hugged her. 

“Muje nai karna tuje hug.”

Raavi tried moving out of his grip but she was unable to since Shiva was too strong. 

“Ek baat bolu?” She asked

“Haa bol” 

“Tune body bahut achi banai hai” 

Raavi slid her hands in his vest touching his well built body shocking him. 

“Kya kar rai hai?”

“Arre meri hai”

Shiva pulled her near.

“Waise toh tu bhi phir meri hui nai.” 

“Mai toh hamesha se teri hi thi. Tu hi idiot hai muje dur kar diya. Ghadheda! ” she hit his head lightly and ran towards the other side of the room

“Aye Ghadhedi ruk”

Shiva caught her duppata and she left her duppata and climbed on the bed. 

“Mai bhi tuje tapli marunga. Aa idhar chipkali” he climbed the bed and she jumped off.

They around the room and finally Shiva caught her pulled her softly from her waist. 

“Zyada himmat aa gai hai. Che mahine se toh one hand distance pe reh raha hai.”

“Jo waqt kho diya uska ghum hai par ab jab tu mere saath hai toh chance maarne mein kya burai hai?”

“I love you Shiva” Raavi got emotional 

“I love you Chipkali” Shiva kissed her forehead 

Shiva and Raavi were finally free. Free of their insecurities. They knew each since childhood. Both of them were on the face and carried their heart on their sleeves. 

As both finally decided to call it a night, they looked around the room. It was a mess. They were a mess. Always. It seemed like there was a storm in the room. 

Shiva and Raavi looked at each other and could not control their laughter. They cleaned their room and finally made it to the bed. 

“Goodnight Shiva.” 

Raavi hugged him 

“Chipkali”

“Hmm”

“Tuje neend aa rai hai?” 

“Haa Shiva. Tu kaafi comfy hai.” She roamed her hands over him and finally settled in a comfortable position 

“Aise mat kar yaar.”

“Kya hua? Tuje bhook lag gai kya?” 

“Tuje aur kuch nai karna?”

“Kya hai Shiva?” Raavi got up on the bed angry 

“Tuje kuch hota nai hai kya? Itna chipak rai hai”

“I thought hum slow jaa rahe the?” She blushed 

“Tune hi toh bola - hum already slow hai” he whined 

“Vo bhi sahi hai” she smiled shyly 

The night was still young for Shiva and Raavi. They explored each other and were finally husband and wife in true sense. 

The night turned out to be one of the most beautiful nights of their life. They found love and happiness.
