Alright, here we go. In this bawaal over FK's backhug, I present to you Aditya's POV. Now some of you may hate that an entire chapter is being dedicated to Aditya. But this is my vision of Aditya, not the butchered TV version that we got to see. Keep an open mind and see him as I do, a man with many flaws who is going to attempt to do the right thing. I spent a lot of time inside this Aditya's head and it was a very tormented place. I hope my writing will help you appreciate it. I am not justifying anything, but presenting an alternate POV. Sometimes even the most detested people have a story to tell, that can change your perspective. I welcome your thoughts, feedback as ...

Aditya will come full circle in this story. I will tag you in future updates if you'd like to see how that happens. This chapter was simply a look into his f*Ed up mind and how he became an alcoholic. A glimmer of hope in the future with Neel. Thank you for reading and analysing my take on Aditya so very beautifully!! mltr162022-01-30 20:44:33

So I read chapter 11, Adityaβs chapter. And I love it. I donβt think itβs an unreal Aditya. In fact itβs very in line with the Aditya we see now. If he continues along his current path he will end up in that place. The one you wrote him in. So well done! You also captured the total mess in his head. All those moving pieces (Imlie, Malini, Neel, Aryan, AryLie, and his own failures and all the other pieces of him including his escape as well (the drink).I love this one line of yourβs. Well I love many, but one of them stood out. Aditya doesnβt hate Imlie because he believes her to be guilty of all these things he accuses her of. Aditya hates her because he envies her, how she had managed to βmove onβ.You are right, even though Aditya married first and had a child first, he is still stuck. He is that same Aditya that he was when Imlie left the house. The Aditya that is like βwhy me?β He doesnβt see his role in things the way that he needs to in order to bring his life back on track. I like that you called this out and wrote the beginnings of his βawakeningβ. First comes the truth that he can no longer run from. And you brought fatherhood into it as well. Not as another obligation, but possibly as a strong reason for him to finally wake up.Lovely perspective on Aditya. I donβt feel a whole lot of sympathy for him to be honest. I think he is just a very self-cantered individual and both Aryan and Imlie need to stay far away. But at the same time I can feel sympathy for a lost soul. And I like that you captured that essence but also gave him some hope.Charishma2022-01-30 20:33:19

11Finally got around to read this chapter...I'm glad it didn't make me feel bad for adi.All I feel for him is anger and pity... And that's exactly why i hate this character...His reactions to situations baffles me to no end... I'm curious though, was it only this one year (his relationship with imlie) that was his downfall? I believe that difficult situations bring out the best or worst in a person. And that determines the strength of character because that's what we need to make the right choice not the convenient choice.Adi over that year is seen to make convenient choices one after the other disregarding feelings of people around him maximum times. But the last part.... Finally choosing to come out of his misery and take responsibility of his child makes me look at him in a different light... Even though it's too late but it's not a little effort. It's the start of upward graph for his character and maybe by being there for Neel he can redeem his bad choices of past.

This whole series is so beautiful. The home Imlie, Aryan and Rathores have made, the sky Imlie got to fly, the love and respect they both have for each other. I love this all.The most beautiful part is that you kept every person true to their nature. No one is out of character here. They all are what they actually were always but evolved and mature version of that.I love Neil and my heart brakes for him. Let's see how future actions of Aditya gonna leave consequences for him.Imlie has come a long way. I specially loved new perspective. She saw what that relation was and was not. Her professional, personal, emotional, sexual( some is still left to be shown) growth is absolute treat to read. The person I love most is Aryan. He is so soft, so understanding, so thoughtful, so giving yet demanding at the same time and naughty as well. This is a full package deal Imlie got. Loved how their relationship grew with time in all the beautiful oneshots you wrote. Those glimpse of their past, of their journey. All of it is really amazing. You really are a fantastic and natural writer with charm in your words. Absolutely loved it all. Waiting for your next update.

Thank you! Not the Tripathis but she did tell Aditya in the previous part that she did not want to be in on his pity party and that he needed professional help. As good as it gets for now. Agree, I would have loved Gashmeer responding to the Voice and showing his torment on screen. He would have been so very good. mltr162022-01-24 00:14:32

Full disclosure : I love Gashmeer as Aditya.Fuller disclosure : bheja fried so no essay.M! You brought the cognitive skillset of introspection to Aditya! Canonical Aditya is such a transient man that he never developed those skillsets. How I wish the show would have shown Aditya's journey from a victim to being survivor!Gashmeer would have nailed those breakdowns and epiphanies so damn much. Man, but Imlie needs to stop acting as the resident therapist for the Ts, if only because she needs therapy the most to gain a sense of self devoid from that codependent family.
