"But Maan" Maan turned his face in frustration, knowing she will not understand anything for her.

"Listen Geet, Even I am busy for atleast 1.5 yrs. I can't afford all this mess for atleast 1.5 yrs. For your good and for my good I have taken a descision."

"What descision"

"Geet, for my research, I have been getting constant call from my other group in NY that I should go there and do study market there and they need me in NY due to financial effect it have"

"NY? " "Hmm its really important for this research but I have been avoiding that offer coz I can't leave you alone But now I think taking that offer is good for both of us"

"What, we will now move to NY Maan" Geet asked innocently. Maan needed strong heart to tell her his decision. He held her hand in his and softly pressed it.

"Geet, you are in college here and I don't want you do disturb your studies. Only I will move to NY"

"But Maan" Geet was completely shocked "Geet its for your and mine good together and then its matter of just 1.5 yrs. Many couples at the starting of there marriage and carrer go thru this and then everything gets settled"

Geet could not believe what she was hearing suddenly "But Maan, I am Geet and I can't stay away from you, in no case. I don't know what other couples do, but i can't"

This argument went on but Maan had already decided he tried his all to convince her

She was all crying cocooned to his chest on his lap

"I will not be able to survive this Maan, without you" "Phir wahi, i am always there with you baby, my heart will always be with you. And I promise, give you my word this is the last decision I am making in our relation, after this when I come back I will dedicate whole my life to you' whatever you say will be final for me, I promise you"

Geet held him tight, could not say anything, he had made the decision and she could not go against it but everything was beyond her imagination, how could she stay away from him. Why don't he understand she don't want this career or this youth life he wanted her to give, he was her life and she could stay anyway with him. This time she had argues with him more than ever , she was feeling bad of arguing but what could she do.

He was always right for her but this time she had intuition he was wrong.

Maan held her tight in his embrace, he only knows how much pain he was going thru, separation from her was beyond his imagination too, but it was not time for his weakness.

"Geet I knew you were young and thus I tried to stop my self falling for you as you needed your life, but I was not strong to hold and atlast I fell for you and accepted my love for you.

Then I thought, I will not indulge in physically with you, you are young and you need your indepent life for few years, but my weakness, I could not stop

Then I thought, OK I will not atleast break your virginity, you are so young and I wanted to preserve it but my weakness I broke it

Then I thought at least I can try not to do anything that can create danger of making you mother but again my weakness"

"Maan you don't know being with you is my world, whatever be the result is welcome for me,only you have to be with me, I will die Maan"

Maan placed fingers on her lips "shhh' don't say such thing, if anything have to happen bad, I will embrace it first" "No" she hugged him tight.

"Geet, for my weakness, my lack of trust on myself, please do as I say for last time and then whatever you say"

At last the decision was taken, none knew how they are going to survive. Maan took promise from her, not to call him when they are separate, he knew his weakness, if she kept calling he will not be able to sustain this separation.

Two days past, with Geet not doing anything just holding Maan tight near her, she was badly scared of what was to come up next week. Not wanting to eat, drink or do anything.

Maan tried to cheer her up, tried to feed her himself, did everything for her, he wanted to pamper her to no end and always making 100s promises to her, this was his last decision for them and he promised her that too.

Three days passed, Maan had also to get all his documents ready but this time, he just stayed ith her and requested his research group to manage all docs.

Today whole family would come, Geet never wanted him to call family as she knew they would bash Maan and she could not take it but Maan wanted to face his decision iin front of family and also wanted someone to stay here with Geet. He did not want to escape the situation, actually he internally wanted to hear all their hatred coz of pain he was giving to Geet and he knew she would never say hurting words to him.

Both their families arrived and knowing the truth, they all blasted Maan. How could he, how was his career so important to him. He only said, this research is global thing and many are dependent on him and he could not leave it but he never said any reason regarding Geet, knowing all who could marry her at age of eighteen will not understand his concern.

"You are a cheat, selfish man, who is leaving you wife here alone"

Geet could not take brij shouting on Maan "Brij Veerji" se said in anger

"you are shouting on your brother, this is what you are taught"

"Maan is also as much older to you as you are to me, how can you talk such with him"

"you are leaving her for 1.5 years.. person who can leave his wife this way in middle, what guarantee is that he will come back.. badnami honee hai hamaree if he don't come."

"I won't let her sit like this, I will marry her to anyone who stay with her"

"brij veerji, how could you say such"

Then Maan's father nd family  were also very angry on Maan' hundreds accusation came his way.

His father declared, due to his extreme selfishness Maan is never welcomed back in family, he broke ties with him'

He kept saying 1.5 yrs only but none were ready to listen. Geet wanted to speak maan's concern for her but he signaled he to say nothing, none will understand anyway, he thought.

Brij kept ranting he will marry Geet with someone else but Maan knew Geet's love for him.

Brij and his family were ready to take Geet back but on that stand Maan was admant'

"Geet will continue her study here, who is staying with her or I will manage this too on my own."

Geet knew how her education was important for Maan, so she confirmed, she wanted to continue her studies.

At last it was decided, Maan's parent would stay with her while Brij kept ranting of her second marriage as he was sure Maan was leaving her and  would never be back.

But one thing was common, both families broke ties with Maan. Maan at present only cared for Geet who he knew was always with her'
