"Sure, why not" But Geet opened the back door and settled there and closed the door hard before Maan could say anything. Maan had no option but to get to drivers seat.

 

 

While driving everyone was quiet. Maan was trying to get a look at Geet from mirror but she sat on the opposite window of mirror'. Maan was so upset that Sameera did not had guts to speak, she was cursing Geet to take all Maan's attention and the fact that a simple village girl was taking all her attention rather than an upto date women like her.

 

Then after dropping Sameera, Geet came to the seat near Maan. She could no way show disrespect to him though she was hurt.

 

Maan smile as he could even talk to her now but as he was about to start the car she said

 

 

"Drop me to Meera di's house" Maan had never expected this from Geet.

 

"Geet it's 4 am in the morning' Morning I will drop you to her place if you want to talk to her"

 

Geet just kept her face straight as she knew the moment she will look into his eyes she will be weak and tears will drop down

 

"Drop me to Meera di's house" she repeated like robot. Maan did not say her anything and knowing she was angry and he will fix her mood at home as he knew fixing her mood would not be that big a deal but he was guilty he knew and he will do all to cheer her up.

 

Maan ignored her request knowing she was very angry and thus being unreasonable. What he did not know that she was a princess and very stubborn princess though she had never shown him so as she loved him so much that everything he gave her even his anger she took it without taking it to heart but this time she was deeply hurt.

 

Maan stopped the car infront of his house but Geet did not get out.

 

He then went to her side and opened her door and she repeated "Drop me to Meera di's house"

 

"Geet" he forwared his hand towards her and just touched her shoulder when she shouted out loud

"DROP ME TO MEERA DI'S HOUSE" Maan immediately backed out' he never expected Geet to shout on him' he felt anger too with her stubbornness as never has he expected this from her but at present his own doing was so wrong that he took everything from her'

 

So without saying anything he tried to pick her in his arm to take her inside but Geet Jerked him away this time and went out of car'.

 

"I will find a taxi'"

 

 Maan ran behind her but she ran faster'. Maan however after a while caught her' he was panting'

 

"Achcha theek hai, Meera ke ghar he drop kerdeta hoon' now calm down"

 

He called Meera and let her know that they were coming to her house' meera got scared as what must have happened that they have to visit her at this hour so she called Yash too.  Yash was worried and thus soon started from his house.

 

When Maan reached to Meera's house Yash has reached just few minutes ago.

 

Geet got down of the car and immediately without saying anything to anyone just went inside the house Meera just kept looking at her.

 

The matter was really serious.

 

Yash:"What's the matter Maan. I have never seen Geet this way and at this hour"

 

 

Man didn't know what to say, he was wrong and very wrong. He had left her all alone in the big casino for six hours and not once came out to ask how she was doing or did not even check on her.

 

"Woo, she is upset with me"

 

"What?? Does it happen this way round to. I always thought it happened the other way" Yash taunted

 

Maan then had to explain them everything to them as it was not a normal thing that Geet would in any case bring things related to Maan in front of anyone and Yash and Meera knew that. So they insisted Maan to tell what the matter was.

 

"And I even don't know how she spent those hours all alone' as far as I know she must have nothing from there without me'"

 

Yash gave a big strong claps "Wow, you know her so well Maan, Great husband you are" he taunted. Maan said nothing, he was so low feeling even more bad. After narrating this to them he realized more how irresponsible he had been.

"Main accept to ker rahan hoon galti apnee and I promise this will never happen"

 

Meera went inside to check on Geet after knowing the truth' she knew how disturbed she must be as Meera and Yash actually knew more than Maan how crazy she was about Maan.

 

Outside Maan and Yash are standing

 

 

"Maan you don't have any idea how much she loves you warna tum khare ho ker aisa bolte bhi I nahi'.

 

I will let you know, kabhi kaha nahi kee tum khud realize karo but now I cannot let her false hope grow like this.

 

You never take her anywhere out and she goes away with us' though she tries to enjoy with us and do lots of fun we can see the pain of not being at those places with you'

 

Her pain always comes out in her words ' I will come here with Maan too, it will be different na.

 

As if she is consoling herself'"

 

Maan had no words, he knew she loves him so much but she never gave him idea that he was ignoring her so much in his busy schedule' she he treated as last priority and even this time he had taken her as duty as he had thought or else she would keep nagging.

 

"Do you know, how happy she was when you promised you will take her to casino' She didn't even mind that first time her husband is taking her out and that too with his friend along with them' she was just happy that she is going out with you'. Aur tumne kya kiya"

 

Yash was in full mood to give Maan a reality check this time but Maan was now not in condition to hear anymore' he only knew that he had been a really horrible husband and all he had always thought that he was doing his responsibility properly by just doing few things for her.

 

He immediately left.

 

Meera tried to make Geet talk but Geet had no words, she was so pained hearing Maan forgot her. She could not digest that she was so less important for Maan that he actually forgot she was there with him. He was her world and thus taking this truth was very very painful.

 

At last Meera said

 

"OK don't say anything' bass aram karo abhi" and she laid Geet's head on her lap and softly kept massaging her hair untill she drifted to sleep.

 

Maan on other side was restless with guilt "Pehle baar le gaya tha usse bahar main aur yeh baat uske liye itnee khass thi aurr maine kya kiya uske saath, chi"

 

Maan whole night cum morning went in this restless ness . He wanted to bring Geet back and apologize to her, please her and heal her pain' he kept calling Meera but Meera said he should give some time to Geet. He then at almost 10am drifted to sleep on the couch.

 

When he woke up he again picked his cell to call Meera when he saw there were n numbers of missed call. Knowing it must be from Meera regarding Geet he checked and was so disappointed that it was from Sameera.

 

At present his mind was not working on any curtsy, it was all concentrated to Geet and he did not bother to return the call back'

 

He was about to call Meera when his phone rang with Sameera's phone. He got irritated but picked the phine'

 

"Maan how is everything now' you don't stress yourself, you just forgot and anyone can forget, it's not that a big deal"

 

He was half listening what she was talking and the moment she ended her sentence Maan said

 

"Sameera, I will call you later, please don't mind" and without listening he just cut her call.

 

He called Meera "Maan she is not talking, not saying a word. Kuch khaa bhi nahi rahee." Maan got worried

 

"Meera I am coming" "Maan nahi, she have said, if you come here she will go somewhere else, aur usse dekh ker lag raha hai, that she can do really anything' I will say, give this some time. I will let you know when things seem little better"

 

Maan was more restless. Did not know what to do, concern and guilt both towards Geet was making him go crazy'

 

"Geet, I took you so much for granted. Tum itna bhi naraz hogee mujhse maine kabhi nahi socha' bas apnee man manee kerta gaya'"

 

But even Maan decided to Give Geet some time, knowing she can't stay away from him for long and would herself come back'

 

Nothing in home seemed correct, he was missing her badly.Whole day passed restelss for him

Whole day Saturday just passed in pain and restless ness for Maan and Geet

 

Maan went to the kitchen Sunday morning, felt like making breakfast and tea for her but then she was not there.

 

He then went to his room but whole house was so quite unlike when Geet is there'

Geet was in trying hard to get over the pain' pouring cold water on herself or roaming around but nothing was helping.
