P.S To start of with i would like to add last few lines of last chapter. and this update is on requst by a very dear buddy of mine infact two who have been waiting for so long for the update. Chapter 17: My Cravings
She opened her eyes and saw the man in front of her kissing her so passionately. She has never felt like this before she thought. At one point of time she wanted to stop thinking what the hell is she doing with ARNAV but on a second thought she pulled him closer this time making her tongue touch his.
Arnav gasp in the ignition. He wanted to pull back but he was surprised that she sucked it back making his groan her name for the first time.
suddenly there was a thunder crash, which made them flinch, khushi realized her position and pushed Arnav placing her palm on his shoulder.
Arnav jerked back releazing her waist and looked at her still dazed.
Khushi licked her lips and shot an angry look on him.
NK: Khushi! (he looked at her questioningly then he looked at arnav, who was looking at him)
Khushi: NK? (she stammered)
Arnav tucked his lips in and gave a supressed smile to NK.
NK still with his confused looks started advancing towards them.
Khushi suddenly felt nervous (i hope he didnot see us in this state she thought)
Khushi straightened herself and settled her hair, straightening the crease of her top and finally smiling at him.
Khushi: Hi! Kahan rehe geye the tum? (where were you stuck?)
NK: (still looking at Arnav) woh principal ke office mein, some thing related to my previous college papers. (finally settling his eyes on khushi, his eyes didnot miss the messed lipstick)
He put his finger on her lips and wiped of the messed lipstick from the corner of her lips.
Both NK and Khushi exchanged a look while arnav remained in his postion fisting his palm.
Khushi looked at Nk's finger which was still there on her lips and saw him.
He removed his finger saying
NK: Looks it you didnot get time to get ready in the morning. Thats why you are looking a little messed up today.
Khushi was extremely embarressed to say anything at that point of time.
And NK was very well aware of the whole situation. After all he has witnessed the whole kiss.
NK Pulled her cheeks and said: Well i think you look sexier like this.
Khushi looked at NK raising her eyebrows.
NK: Ya seriously. Kyun dude? dont you think so?
Arnav jerked his shoulder and turned back to sit.
NK: So khushi, shall we start our rehearsal?
Khushi: Emm...ok.
NK: Hey dude where is your girl friend.
The moment khushi heard NK address Lavanya his girl friend, her head filled with an unknown rage of anger. she quickly held NKs hand and pulled him towards the rehearsal stage.
NK was about to topple.
NK: Khushi wait, Arrey, Kya ho gaya achanak? (what happened suddenly?)
Khushi: Looks like you have time to waste but i dont. Shall we start?
Arnav smiled at her geature. he knew it very well that she is jealous and he liked the fact.
She played the Cd and took NK's hand and placed it on her waist then closed the gap between them and started dancing.
she never left a single second not looking at arnav. She looked at him continuously with her angry eyes, the kiss still very young in her mind.
she was so engrosed looking at arnav and putting her whole attention on him she didnot pay any attention to the other pair of eyes who was witnessing the passionate anger of her and affectionate drools of his.
Finally NK spun her around and dropped her in his arms when she came back in her senses.
NK made a funny face saying its over khushi.
Khushi: Haan?
NK: Our thing.
Khushi: What?
NK: Our dance khushi. Kahan khogai thi?
Khushi: Khogai thi matlab? I was very much into it.
NK: Hmm, he gave a smile. Ok now this time for Arnav to practise.
Khushi put a mocking smile and said partner kidhar hai?
NK: Tum ho na.
Khushi: What?
NK: I mean tum thoda practise karwa do usko. He looks a little reserved to ask you actually.
Khushi: What are you talking about NK? why are you talking like this?
NK: I am talking fine, looks like your mind is making you think something else. I dont think you are able to think straight today.
Khushi: What do you mean.
NK cupped her face and said: Nothing my princess, I am just asking you to make him practise with you. No harm in it right?
Khushi: NK, why will i make him practice? Woh aur uska partner samjhega
NK: for some times if you become his partner there is no problem.
Khushi: NK, you dont know lavanya, if she comes to know then...
NK: Lavanya? woh kahan se agai?
Khushi: hamesha she hi beech meye thi/she was always inbetween us (she blurted out)
NK caught her but behaved as if he didnot listen: What?
Khushi: Aa! nothing. Why will i go myself and ask?
Arnav: Khushi!
Khushi's heart skipped the way he took her name, she turned and saw him standing behind her.
Arnav: Can i practice with you once? (he said, looking straight in his eyes)
NK just moved back and played the music.
Arnav slid his hand on her waist and pulled her towards him without breaking their eye contact.
they danced together like as if they are making love with each other with every move, every touch, and finally completing the whole dance instead of dropping her her he pulled her in a hug.
they stayed like that for sometime.
NK: Last step was wrong!
Khushi again realised that she got carried away. Once again she pushed arnav and this time she lost it.
Khushi: What the hell do you think you were doing Arnav? Dont try your tricks on me.
NK: Hey khushi!
Khushi: Please NK, let me handle this. dont interfare
Arnav looked at NK backing out raising his hand.
Khushi: why are you doing this arnav?
Arnav: I am doing what khushi?
Khushi: Why are you trying to come...come close to me?
Arnav: Is it me or you?
NK to himself (both, duffer)
Khushi: Me? are you crazy? I will come close to you?
Arnav: Exactly
Khushi: tum pagal ho gaye ho
Arnav: Oh really? Whatever happened few minutes back it was you who initiated.
Now khushi got a little defensive, she knew that she is the one who started it. she felt a little embarassed at the same time humiliated. she didnot expect arnav to say that on her face.
Khushi: Just get out from here arnav. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY MIND.
Arnav smiled at her (mind se to nikal dogi but dilse/you will take me out from your mind but heart?
Arnav: So i am there in your mind, right?
Khushi realised that she again blured out something which was not supposed to. It was Arnav, she never liked him, then how now a days he captered her thoughts, her mind, her kiss. Kiss she thought, what about that kiss, why i saw him kissing me? I am 100% sure it was his eyes. His eyes? How am i so sure that its his eyes? have i ever noticed his eyes so much to know?
Arnav: Sochna bandh karo khushi kumari gupta, its not good for your health, the more you think the more you will be confused.
Khushi to herself: Did he actually read my thought? No thats not possible. Its impossible.
Khushi: I am not your girl friend that you have taken the oath to teach me. please dont dectate me what i should do and what not.
Khushi got so pissed after all this that she took her kit and left the rehearsal hall.
Arnav and NK just saw her leaving.
NK slowly walked towards him: Women! you know
Arnav: excuse me
NK: They are the most confused soul in this world. they dont know what they want and just blabber out things and regret later.
Arnav: Looks like you have a lot of experience in women.
NK: ya dude. i have been around a lot of women.
Arnav: WOW! yahan meye ek ko nahi sambhal pa raha hoon aur tum (i am not able to handle one and you...khushi is just impossible to control when she is mad at me)
NK: Khushi? I thought you are talking about Lavanya.
Arnav looked at NK as if he is caught on a wrong foot.
NK: Khushi is a nice girl, a little different than the rest.
Arnav: She is all the more khatarnak, you dont know her.
NK: But i like her.
Arnav: You like her?
NK: Ya i like her. infact i love her.
Arnav remained quite.
NK: But not as much as you do Arnav.
Arnav looked at NK shockingly.
Arnav: NK! What...ar...
NK: a! a! not to me arnav. I can see that in your eyes. in her eyes. both of you are madly in love, the only difference is she doesnt realise it, and you are not making her realise. It was you who have kept her in your house when she lost her memory right?
Arnav: How...do...
NK: If i love someone i make sure i know everything about her. dude ek baat kahun? dont let her go. you will regret big time. (NK closed his eyes remembering his first love ruhi)
