A STORY OR THE TRUTH - PART 1

The Roy Chaudhary's have gone to see a natak. It was specially organized for kids so Anirudh along with his family went there specially for Bondita . The Roy Chaudhary's were seated on the front row as special guest. Pros of being a Zimmandar family were that you were treated the best way. 

" This story is about a young 8 year old girl staying with her widhwa maa, mama, mami and her cousin. One day her mama mami decides her to get married. The narrator began narrating the story. The actors were all dressed up according to there charaters which quite resembled Bondita's family.  

"Patibabu, this girl looks so similar to me" Bondita whispered in Anirudh's ear. He smiled but inside, he was scared. He for some unknown reason wanted to leave the place. 

"She had many questions in her mind, which always remained unanswered. She was curious but her curiosity was always crushed. While the narrator was narrating, the girl was acting on the stage. Anirudh was getting a very bad vibe seeing the drama unfold. 

" Her cruel mama and mami once decided that they were done with the burden of her responsibilities. So they decided to get her married off to a 80 year old man who was ready to pay them as much as they wanted." Listening to this Anirudh was shocked as he never imagined that someone would make hisr worst nightmare true, but the Barrister mind  was quite sure this story was Bondita's. He saw Sudamini doing some indications to the narrator. Joining the dots and seeing that cruel women out here, was damn sure that it was suadamini's ploy to get out the deep secrets of the relation he shares with the innocent eight year old . Bondita was engrossed in the, she even had tears in her eyes seeing the sad events happening on the stage.

"Bondita let's leave". Anirudh caught tight hold of Bondita's hand and stood up to leave, but he was stopped. They were forcefully turned towards the stage where the whole bitter truth of Bondita's life was playing. 

It was the same scenario, the marriage, the sati, the survival. Everything exactly same! Bondita was crying bitterly. After the marriage scene, the lights went off and the evil Sudamini was on the stage. 

"BONDITA, sudamini ki koi baat par dhayan mat dena." Anirudh was trying his best to save the damage, but alas what's destined to happen shall happen. An already confused bondita didn't know what to do. 

"Bondita tumne jo dekha abhi ye sab ek sacchai hai, tumahre jewan ki woh sacchai jo tumhare patibabu ne tumse hamesha chipa kar rakhi hai."

"Suadamini! Bas ek aur shabd nahi" Anirudh shouted with rage. Suadamini was not someone who would take other people's rage, so she become more dangerous. 

"Kyu, main kyu chup raho? Aaj mein bolungi. Bondita tum mar kyu nahi gai uss din? Sati hojati tu kya jata tumahra? TUMHARI WAJAH SE MAINE APNA ANIRUDH KHOYA HAI. Tum wo kalank ho jisne mera jeewan kaal kardiya. Aree widhwa hoke ek subhagyawati ka jeewan jee rahi hoo tum." Sudamini kept on blabbering and that poor child was just numb. The one she trusted the most always kept her caged in the darkness of a lie. All those memories flaunted in her mind. With all this, she couldn't take it and collapsed on the ground. There wasn't a unconscious bondita, but that little girl who was broken into pieces by a woman for the sake of vengeance.
