Chapter 2

Chapter 2(A)

Everyone left in finding rooms, unknown of the facts thatthey are being watched. They find 7 rooms at upstairs.

 "So, guys. What todo? There are 13 of us and we have only 7 rooms" Jack asked looking at everyone.

"Yes, you're right" Joey said, caressing his non beardedchin.

"One room can be shared by two of us each" Vicky advice.

All boys agreed, they decide to take rooms by dividing, 3rooms to girls and 3 rooms to boys, it could be easier for them to do, but theyforget that one person from them has to take a single room.

"Guys, two can only share one room" Elena said.

"Yes, and not to forget, we girls are 7 not 6" Emma said ina duh tone.

"Yes, you are right" Joey said scratching his imaginarybeard.

Then, out of nowhere Suzan said that Elena should live alonein a room.  Every one stares her unbelievably.

"Yah, I can manage no problem" Elena said with a fake smile,but it didn't go unnoticed by Jack.

"How could she live alone in a single room, one among usshould be with her" Jack said concerned.

"Oh, yeah! Why not you stay with her brother?" Vicky saidteasing making Elena blush.

"Uh! I didn't mean it like that" Jack said scratching hisneck embarrassed.

"Jack don't worry I would be fine" Elena said.

"I know that Elena, but like, it's an unknown place and ifsomething happened to you, while you're asleep then..." Jack said worriedlyputting his hand on hers.

Elena didn't miss the concern and worried in his voice, sheknows Jack care about her a lot, but it's not what she wanted right now. Thefeelings she had suppressed for him would be flooded out if he doesn't stopcaring for her.

The gang watched them in amusement but Suzan had a scowl onher face. She didn't like Elena and Jack getting close and she would doanything to make them apart.

"Don't you worry, I will manage" Elena said withdrawing herhand from his, seeing a hurt look cross in his eyes, but she ignored it.

"Uh! Ok" he said.

Then it's decided that Elena will be in another room. Butthank god it is adjacent to the room which Jack and Joey had taken. But Emma ishell irritated now as she is being forced by the gang to share the room withthat Suzan. Elena then gets into the room. She takes a shower and come out ofthe room wearing her night wear frock. And at the same time Jack too came outfrom his room. Jack gaze her from top to bottom. She stands blushing, gettinghis attention.

"Ahem, ahem, shall we?" Jack asked coming out of hisadmiring world, to go downstairs where their friends should be waiting for thedinner.

"Yeah" she nodded. And both left, only to find two couplesfighting lovingly.

"Look Joey, you are doing the wrong thing" Emma said puttingher hand fisting on her waist and glaring a frowning Joey.

"Look Emu" Joey said holding his forehead, from the lastfifteen minutes she had given him a headache arguing.

"There again, you told me Emu again. I am Emma not Emu, youduffer" she said irately. Joey gave her a confused look.

"Oh yeah right Emma. Why don't you understand that...?" Joeydidn't have to complete his sentence when he heard laughing.

Emma and Joey turn only to find Jack and Elena holding theirstomach and laughing.

"Elena! Jack! Why the hell are you laughing?" she asked witha glare which made them shut up.

"Emma, no, Emu" Elena said and burst out laughing falling onthe couch, beside her.

"Elena! I will kill you" Emma screamed and goes near her.

"Oh, Emma I am so sorry" Elena said still controlling herlaugh.

"Elena!" Emma said pouting and folding her arms sitting onthe couch.

"Emma, if we can't tease our friends, so how our friendshipswill entertain?" Elena said cuddling Emma in her arms.

"I love you Elena" Emma said with a sigh, hugging Elena.

"I know girl, I know"

Jack stares at her, the girl he adores and loves. The smileshe has only made his heart flutter. It was as if she is the only world aroundhim and no matter what she thinks, he will always be there for her.

He is taken away from the dream world by Joey who iscontinuously shaking him and calling from last 5 minute.

"What?" Jack snaps. Every time his thought of Elena would breakby him, its co incident or not he never knows.

"Look man come out of your Elena world and come and have thefood because I am starving" Joey said, dragging him to the Kitchen where allthe gangs were seated. Jack was so much in his thought that he hadn't noticethat Elena and Emma were also seated.

Everyone was enjoying the dinner. But somehow in the middleof the dinner Elena had felt someone watching them, she ran her eyes around thekitchen but didn't find any one. Emma who was beside her asks if something iswrong but she shakes her head. A while later all goes to their bed.

Elena was cuddling a pillow in her bed and remembering Jack'spossessiveness towards her. She had a smile on her face. She suddenly hears aknock on the door and gets up. She asks to come in whoever it was and wait forthe person to enter but no one entered. She sighs thinking maybe she is hearing things and it must be becauseshe was thinking of Jack, and may be expecting him to join her in the bed soshe could cuddle with him instead of the pillow.

She again hears the knocks. She thought her friends could beplaying pranks with her and she slowly gets up from the bed tip toeing to reachthe door opening it and shouting "gotcha" but she frown when she didn't findany one. She may be hearing things she thought and was about to close the doorwhen she heard a crash downstairs and jump frightened.

She slowly skip downstairs holding a vase kept aside inorder to protect her if some thief and enter. She steadies herself and ask in awhisper heading to the dark hall.

"Hello? Guys, is there one of you in the kitchen because ifyou are trying to scare me then I will chop you guys with my knife and feed tothe vulture" she threatened but no one replied.

"Emma! Are you there?" she asks when she heard somethingbehind her move; she slowly turns around to find a male shadow leaning againstthe wall.

"Joey this isn't funny ok, I am not in the mood to joke withyou and not even in the mood to talk..." her moth was covered with a large coldhand to stop her babbling and she stare at the face with her eyes wide when themoon light from the window touched his face.

 She struggles to getfree from his grip on her waist and with a sigh he loosen the grip but didn't leavehis hand from her waist.

"Jack! This is not so fun for you, if you knocked the doorthan you should have told me, and when I asked why didn't you replied, andmoreover doing this little sound you made me come downstairs, and now I amsaying you made me come downstairs then you will say you didn't because I cameby myself at night, yeah right!  Andmoreover this house seems so strange to me and Apart from the fun nothing elserecommend in your brain and-"

She was cut by Jacks hand again on her mouth covering herbabbling and he kind of find it amuse because the way she babble he only couldconcentrate on her moving lips which he badly want to taste.

"Huss! Girl How much are you hyper. I do not sleep so; Ijust thought to spend some time with you" he said pouting; he knows she can'tresist his pout on his face because whenever he does she would tell him not to.

"Jack, I could not even sleep. And I also wanted to spend timewith you." She said hugging him and he hugs her back with a smile and kisses onher hair and feels the love for him from her.

After some moments of hugging Elena and Jack holding coffeemugs each were seated on the couch and enjoying the company of each other.Elena loves to spend time with Jack, she knows he loves her and will dowhatever only for her sake but she also wanted to be confirmed that if he actuallywanted to be with her or not.

But the sudden question from Jack made her speechless, andJack only shakes his head feeling hurt and disappoint. He only wanted to knowthe answer from her voice, he wants to hear it from her and from the numbnessof her he became hurt knowing that he wouldn't have even asked her. The 4 wordshe asked her and no replied from her made his heart shatter. He had only asked"do you love me?"

Jack enters his room and dash the door. Elena with a sadface enters her room and locks it and goes to sleep. Its late night around 2 amElena hear some voice "help! Help!" she couldn't sleep properly. Again hersleeps is disturbed with the voice "help! Help! Elena. Help us!" she gets upthe voice is echoed in her ear. She goes downstairs. She sees the gang shoutingher to help them. Boys are tied in a pillar. Jack is tied on a chair. Girls aretied in another pillar. Everyone was shouting at her to help them.

 "Elena! Save us. Sheis going to kill us. Elena please save all of us" Emma says fear evident in hervoice and she was practically moving her head to each corner as if expectingsome one.

 "Elena. Elena savesme. Please. Please." Jack said to her trying to remove his hand from the tiedchair.

"Elena, Save me first. Please. Save all of us."  Joey said in scary voice. Elena is scared andin confusion where to go. She then sees a knife coming towards Jack. It hits Jack'sneck and passed away making a small scratch. Jack shouts in pain. And includingElena everyone shout his name. The knife is moving in the air. It turns towardthe girls. The girls are fully scared. The knife in a full speed goes and cuteveryone's neck. The blood flows in the ground. Elena is in shock. She shoutsloudly sitting in the ground covering her face with her palm. She feels someoneis shaking her. She looks up and finds Jack sitting near her she is shocked.But ignore the how? She hugs him.

Jack hug her back, he could see the fear in her eyes and theshock. But he couldn't ask her about it, he knows she needs him now. Everyonesees her with concern, they knows something has happened to her the reason sheis scared as shit, but they thought better to drop the topic for now. Jacktells everyone to go to their respective rooms and he will take care of her.Gang agrees. But Suzan says her that she is disturbing her and everyone sleepsonly for so called her fear.

Everyone stares her and Jack scolds her not to speak andthen take Elena to her room lifting her in his strong arm followed by the gang.Elena is thinking was it really dreamed? Or the situation she had just facedwould turn into reality. Should she tell this to everyone? No, no one would beliefher but Jack. He might belief her. Of course as he loves her. So he must trusther in everything she tells him. But what if he didn't?  No it will be better if she says it to everyonein the morning. Might her best friend also trust her?

She lays on the bad and Jack cover blanket. Caress her head.Putting a kiss he turned to leave when Elena hold his wrist and tells him if hewouldn't mind to stay with her in the room. Jack agrees on it as he thinks sheneeds him right now. So is she asking? She might tell him what happened to herso that she shouted so loudly. She must be scared of something as he could feltthat in her face. The gang headed to their rooms. Jack lay near the couchlooking at Elena with a smile. Elena to smiles back and closes her eyes in apeaceful sleep.

In downstairs the knife is moving and the gangs are beingtied. But wait the girl standing at the place is not Elena. Then who is she?But gangs are in their room then who are they? And Jack is too here. Then whothe guy is with Elena? But everyone vanished except the girl.

"I will not spare you... no one can escape from me" her evilvoice echoed in the empty hallway unknown to the people sleeping peacefullyexcept the one.
