Chapter 1

The sun rises and then the alarm rings a hand falls on thealarm to stop. Wind is blowing through the window having a cool breeze.Curtains are covered with the windows. Slowly the curtains are slide and abeautiful girl crossing her both hands caressing her shoulder enjoying the coolbreeze closing her eyes.

"Elena" someone came dashing her bed room door,

"Yes, Emma" Elena replied, turning back, facing the girl,who is in a hurry.

Elena sooths her back, and Emma calms down. Emma tells herabout the dance fest, where they had been offered with an 1 month tour, Elenaand Emma were awaiting for this moment, to spend some time with their wholegroup of friends. They have the group of 12 people, Jack, Joey, Vicky, Nil, Drew,Aston, Alice, Bella, Aria and Lea. Jack and Emma are best of friends, and Joeyand Elena are best of friends, that also includes Emma and Elena best friendsand Jack and Joey best friends, and including Suzan, Joey's cousin makes them13. Elena, likes Jack a lot and she knows Jack too likes her, whereas Joey and Emmaare couples, their gang knows very well about Jack and Elena's feeling for eachother, but both of them had not made any move to confess.

After a little chit chat, and pulling legs of each other, Emmatells Elena she had forgot to call Joey and she needs to do it immediatelybefore going to college, Elena only nods at her, sitting in the bed. Emmaleaves and Elena goes to washroom to take a bath, to get ready for the college.

Racing field.

A boy on a bike with a helmet (his eyes r only seen) istrying to drive very fast moving his accelerator. There are many boys and girlsin two parallel rows with nearly 2 meter distance between them. All arecheering "Jack...Jack"

He drives very fast and jumps from a gap of mountain havinga 5 m distance to the other side of the mountain. Then he removes his helmetand looks smiling to everyone. Boys come and hold him on their shoulders. Whenthey put him on the ground girls come and hug him

Then he hears a voice "Jack". He looks and gets stunned tosee Joey. He comes to him with an angry look and Jack lowers his eyes.

"Come with me" Joey drags him, holding his wrist to theparking lot.

Both goes towards the car and Joey freed his wrist. Andcrossing her arms stare at Jack. Jack lowered his eyes feeling guilty. As manytimes Joey had warned him not do such things. Joey knows his best friend and sothe way he react when he is upset. So he warned him to share his feelings withhim but no after all Jack is Jack. And Joey is Joey. Jack very well know him heis now ready to face him. Of course it was the 3rd time after hisstraight warning.

"Joey" Jack tries to say, but Joey stops him.

"Stop it Jack, I don't want to hear anything, why are yourisking your life, now stop, it is enough"

Jack feels guilty for making Joey angry, he knows Joey caresfor him a lot, but what will he do, the reason he is doing this only to makehis mind cool, from thinking Elena. Wherever he goes he hallucinates her, andto forget it, only he do this. After a lot of sorry, Joey at last forgave him,and they both rush to the college, where Elena and Emma should be waiting forthem.

College

Gang is sitting inside the class, When Elena and Emma enters.Everyone looks at them.

"Hey Emma. Hi Elena" gang greeted them.

"Hi guys" Elena and Emma said in unison, but their eyes weresearching for the person they want to see. Gang noticed it and giggles.

A girl came running in a speed and dashed into Elena. Shewas about to fall when a strong arm catches her holding her waist and she hastightly held his collar.

"Universe! Save me please." Elena pray closing her eyes.

"You are saved Elena, but not by Universe but by your linecutter" Alice replied, and the gang snickers.

Elena slowly opens her eyes and sees Jack holding her and islooking at her with so much love. Both are now lost in their dream world. Bothwere having an eye lock. When someone clears their throat "ahem ahem" theydidn't came out of their dreamland. Again, "ahem ahem" still no response. "Mr. Jack?"no response. "Miss Elena" no response. The person shook them. Jack gave adisturbing element look' to the person and again look at Elena but wait oh god.The professor has entered the class and both are still in the same postures. Jackmakes her stand straight. She too makes her frock straight.  And both of them took their seat.

After the class over, the gang looks at the girl who hadbumped into Elena before the class. She gave them a confusing look.

"What? Why are you all staring" she asked in confusion.

"What was the reason behind your running race?" Alice askedlooking at her foot to face in disgust.

No one, in the group likes Suzan; though she is Joey'scousin he too doesn't like her. They get annoyed with her, she always chattersabout Jack and they hate her for that to the core of their heart. Except Vicky,he had a crush on her. And that's also another reason of hating her.

"Uh, actually I wanted to meet Jack" she said blushing.

As soon as she took Jack's name everyone looks at Elena. Shelooks at everyone and then left the place. Joey goes behind her and Jack glaresa look at Suzan including the gang. Suzan gave them whatever look and leave.

"Jack! Are you ok?" Emma asked with concern.

"Yes, I am fine"

"Gosh! I am dying for that Suzan, and she chatting Jackmantra"

Everyone looks at him and the hurting look given to him is Alice.She is really hurt. She likes him a lot and doesn't wanted to see Vicky withother girl especially Suzan.

Elena sitting on the bench, thinks about Suzan having crushon Jack, maybe she should leave Suzan and Jack to be happy, maybe she is notmuch good for Jack, she never said or confess him about her feeling and Suzanis smart enough to do that, maybe she is perfect for Jack.

"Elena, never think of leaving Jack with Suzan"

Elena turns her head to see Joey, sitting beside her, shewas so engross that she didn't notice any one approaching her. Of course herbest friend knows her better, she doesn't need to speak aloud and her thoughtsreach him, doesn't it should be with lovers? Oh right lovers never can be bestfriends and best friends can never be lovers.

"But Joey, I guess she is perfect"

"No, Elena, she isn't but you are, can't you see howlovingly he looks at you"

"I know Joey but it hurts when you know that someone likesthe same person you do"

"Elena you love him, not like him and Suzan has only crushon him"

"But, Joey, I don't want to take her happiness"

"Oh, Elena, shut up, she is taking your happiness. not you"

"Joey but"

"No more ifs and buts, you love him only that matters don'tthink about the world, understand"

"Yes"

"And I am sorry for what she blurted out"

Elena was about to speak when Emma snaps

"Great! Sister does mistakes and brother ask for pardon"

"Emma..!" Elena asked her to stop

"Elena let her speak." Joey replied in a calm voice.

"Oh, hello! What do you mean by let her speak" she said puttingher hand on her hips. "you..."

"Me what?" Joey asked, crossing his arms.

"Excuse me! I am leaving. You carry on!" Elena leaves leavingboth to argue among them.

"Look, Mr. you make your sister's mind clear and put somebrain. Dare she say anything to hurt my best friend" Emma said in an angrytone.

"Firstly, everyone knows Suzan is a dumb girl and no one canmake her understand. Secondly, Elena is not only your friend but my also" Joeysaid pointing out the fact.

"Don't try to be smart"

"Not needed, I am already smart"

"Joey" she glares

"Emma" he too glare

Both looks at each other for some while and then laughsloudly.

"Oh my god! We couldn't do this time also" Emma said shakingher head with a smile.

"Right, how lovers fight for silly reasons I can'tunderstand, we couldn't argue for any reasons also" Joey said.

"Yes, right. But Joey, seriously, you need to put some brainon your sister"

"I understand Emma, but what to do? She is stubborn child ofher only parents and enough rich, so she is proud of it"

"I guess you must have done some terrible mistake in yourpast birth, so Suzan is your cousin in present birth" Emma said.

"I am also thinking the same"

"What?"

"Just kidding" Joey laughed.

Emma then decided to teach a lesson to Suzan. The time willcome soon, she thought to herself. Even if she

Elena is walking through the corridor and bumps withsomeone. Her books fall on the floor.

"Sorry I was in a hurry, extremely, sorry" she said pickingthe books, but not looking at the person bumped with her, the person helps herpicking the books. She looks at the book in the hand, and then her eyes go tothe one's shoulder and then at last the face. "Jack" she whispers. Elena tells Jackabout the small meeting with VP, about the tour they are going. Both of themleft to VP office.

The next day a bus is hired for their tour. Everyone entersincluding Suzan. Yes of course. She will go because she has the permission fromthe college though she is not included in the dance team. And after a lots ofrequest by Suzan VP sir agrees for it. Everyone take their seats. Wait someoneis missing. Yes where is Elena. She hasn't come yet. Jack asks Emma but she toodon't know about Elena as yesterday Elena told her that she will be on time.They wait for Elena at least for 20 minutes. Joey calls her but she didn't pickher phone. And the driver irritated has just started the bus when she gets intothe bus. Jack has a sigh of relief.  soas Emma and Joey and the rest, except Suzan of course. She comes and lookseveryone is sitting with their respective partners Except, Jack and Suzan. Herface had a curve smile looking at Jack who is signaling her to seat near her.She is about to go when Suzan came and sit. Her smile faded she went and sitsnear the adjacent seat. Throughout the journey Jack tries to catch a glimpse ofher and vice versa. Jack is looking at her when the bus stops as everyone indeep sleep due to the sudden jerk they woke up. The driver tells them that thebus got some problem and is need to repair perhaps. They all got down the bus.The time is around 5:30 pm. everyone is wandering when the driver tells thatthey need to find a guesthouse here as the bus couldn't repair. He needs to goto call mechanic and the nigh journey wouldn't be safe for them. So everyoneagreed and takeout their luggage from the bus and walks to find a guest houseor cottage. After walking some distance they saw a cottage.

When they reach at the entrance the main gate openedautomatically, no watch man and not even a guard or a single man is being seen.Everyone get shocked but didn't take it seriously as no one believes in anysupernatural spirits and ghost. So they have no fear of it. Gang headed insidethey were amazed by looking the inside view. The cottage must belong to highsociety family. They reached the door and knock it. No one came out. Joey againtries to knock when the door opens. They enter inside and find no one. As soonas they had entered the doors shut automatically. They jerk and turn and findthe door shut.

Elena and Emma felt something different, something they hadnever felt before so hard, they feel that someone was willing them to comehere, someone so close to them. They also discussed about the door closeautomatically, but again they thought that it must be more the strong windblowing.

Everyone left in finding rooms and a shadow is seen in thestaircase.
