Chapter 22

Sidhant was pacing inside his room frantically biting his nails. He stopped his walk to take a deep breath to control his anxious. A door opening sound makes him whip his heels around. 

"Roli?...' distraughted sid seeing her tears filled eyes. Roli came out from the washroom before threw herself on Sid's arms and cries,

"It's positive' hiccups roli with a big smile on her face. A tear fell down from sid's hazel left eyes. 

"You're-You're-You-You...' stammers him sobbing silently. Roli pulled back then looked into his eyes. She nods her head showing the kit which shows two lines. Sid covered his mouth,

"Oh god' muffled him weepingly. 

"thank you..thank you so much' sid hugged her tightly without giving more pressure to her belly where his baby is growing. 

Roli was in sid's lap hugging him closer who was caressing her belly with a smile in his perfect face. 

"He or She will be so cute' 

"yes, because it's your child' said sid pulling roli closer. She grinned tightening her grip around him. 

"Sidhant?..' 

Roli removed herself from him. 

"Will maa and papa accept this?...' frightened roli biting her cheek inside. Sid cupped his face,

"I'll talk to them' he pecked her nose then joined his forehead with hers. 

"Your family?' queries roli making him widen his eyes.

"what?' her tone trembles in fear seeing him shaking his head no. 

"They won't accept roli. Especially my dadi, she is a traditional minded woman who thinks love is a sin...'

"Will you leave me and our baby if your dadi tell you to lea...'

"What? No..Definitely not!' spoke sid before she complete her sentence. He placed his big palm in her tummy covers it,

"You both are my life..my love! How can i live without you two' 

"Why are you always loving me more than i do?...' weeps roli attached her lips with his. 

NIGHT: 

"he or she will look like a little green pea now, right?..' asks sid pressing his chin in her bare tummy talking to his baby laying upside down. 

"Yeah!' roli smiles running her fingers in his dark tresses. 

"I can't wait to hold you in my arms baby bear' he pecked her belly tickling her. 

"Me too' grins roli pulling him near her face grabbing his hairs. 

NEXT DAY:

MORNING:

Roli pushed sid away who was embracing her inside his arms jumped down from the bed then rushed inside the washroom. Sid startles waking up from his slumber. 

"Roli?..' he rushed inside the washroom and found her throwing up. 

"baby' sid held her head with his right hand whilst his left strokes her back calming her. 

"Ok Ok Ok...' sid pulled her closer. He kissed her crown and rocking her weak body.

"Oh baby bear, why are you troubling your mumma bear like this?..' sid sighed rubbing his thumb near her navel. 

"i love you' said roli lifting her head. Sid smiles,

"love you too' mouths him moves close to her lips. Roli placed her palm covered her mouth confusing him. 

"My breath stinks' muffled her. Sid raised his eyebrows,

"Who cares...' stated him removing her hand from hers replaced it with his mouth. 

"What the heck?...' shouts sid flinching roli. 

"You scared me stupid' annoys roli holding her chest. 

"why did you shout?...' yelled her glaring at him. 

"I told you to don't lift weight, don't I?...'

"For godddd's sake you're a medical student and you very well know lifting a glass won't hurt me or the baby' she rolled her eyes in exasperation. 

"I can't allow anything to hurt my mumma bear and baby bear..so, no lifting means no lifting' sid commands with his cold tone. Roli pouted her lips and her eyes begins to teary. 

"Oh no no no...' sid hugged and cursed himself for forgetting her mood swing. 

"Sorry baby..Sorry' apologies him placing his warm kisses in her hair consoling her. 

"You are really bad..i hate you! I won't give my baby to you'

"No problem, I love you too' he whispers playing her game with her to stop her getting more mad.

COLLEGE:

CANTEEN:

"You what?...' screams airaa turning everyone's attention on her who were presented in the canteen. 

"Can you please shut your mouth?' Sid hissed. Airaa inhaled a deep breath then exhaled it,

"Ok now tell me, did you just announce you're pregnant?...' queries airaa in her maximum low tone looking straight at rosid. 

Sid wrapped his left hand around roli's waist then placed his right hand above her belly. 

"Yeah' beams him locking his eyes with his girl who was entwined her fingers with his rough one. 

"Oh my goddd' hollers airaa jumped up from her place then hugged rosid together.  Rosid chuckled hugged her back.

"I'm so happy for you' she kissed roli's cheek. 

"And you naughty boy' she pinched Sid's cheek who was groaning but smiling at his best friend. 

"Congratulations papa and mumma' sam giggles gave them a friendly hug. 

"Thank you sam' roli blushed. 

"Wow man, you're so fast' smirks rocky. 

"I accept' says dhruv winking at sid making him roll his eyes. 

"Careful mumma bear' mumbles sid helped roli to get up from her seat.

"Aww' coos his friends resting their chin in their hand. 

"Shut up guys' grunted him adjusting roli's dupatta over her shoulder. 

"Stop acting like I'm in my third trimester sidhant' huffed roli. 

"Told you to don't stop me when I'm taking care of you' reprimanded him carried her bag like how he did morning. Roli shook her head then followed him without any other option. 

ROSID'S HOUSE:

"Mango smoothie with ketchup' roli gave her order to sid sitting on the top of the kitchen counter. Sid grimaced hearing her weird order,

"Are you sure smoothie with ketchup?...'

Roli shrugged her shoulders like "hell yes".

"Fine' groans him started making smoothie. 

Sid felt smooth hands around his waist. He smiles then tilted his head rested it on roli's. 

"You want anything mumma?...'

"shall we tell about this to my parents at least?...' queries her with a hopeful tone. 

"Sure mumma, even I'm planning to tell about this to my parents' he turned on her side then cupped her face. 

"Whatever it will be, I'm always there for you and our baby bear' 

"Thank you papa' roli hugged him tightly feeling so blessed to have him in her life. 

ROSID'S ROOM:

"Hey beautiful' sid waved his hand at his mother in law. 

"Stop it young man, she's mine' jamunlal circled his hand around meena possessively. Sid chuckles,

"Fine, keep her with you. I've gotten a beautiful woman for me'

"She's beautiful because of us' smirks jamunlal making sid laugh. 

"Ok Ok...now papa tell me how are you both?..' enquired sid. 

"Good beta, what about you? Why roli is sleeping so soon?...' asked jamunlal watching the sleeping roli in sid's lap. 

"She's so sleepy' replied sid fiddling his fingers. Meena furrows her eyebrows,

"Sidhant what happ...'

"maa papa, I'm sorry! I know you believed me so much but i had broken your trust...' his voice breaks. 

"Sidhant?...'

"roli is pregnant maa' confessed him avoiding his eye contact shocking the parents. 

"Oh matarani... I'm going to become a grandma' meena jumps excitedly surprising sid. He lifted his head and found a big smile in roli's parents face. 

"How long she is...oh my god, my little daughter is mother now' cries meena happily clutching her heart. 

"Are you not mad at me?...' astonished sid in disbelieve. 

"Definitely not. Yeah, it's shocking us but we are not mad at you. We know how much you love our daughter and the baby is symbol of your love' spoke jamunlal with a smile. Sid's eyes filled with tears,

"I love you both so so much' weeps sid giving virtual hug to his other parents. 

"we too' grins meena. 

"Shall we come to see my little girl tomorrow?' asked jamunlal looking at roli longingly. 

"I'll book ticket for you both, you come' informed sid patting roli's hairs. 

"No No we will come by our car... don't tell this to roli! Let's surprise her' giggles meena clapping her hands together. Sid laughed,

"Sure beautiful' he winked at fuming jamunlal. 

NEXT DAY

EVENING:

"What surprise sidhant?...' whines roli tugging his sleeve. 

"Surprise roli' chuckles sid washing the dishes. Roli pouted her lips. 

"Ja cutty' she crossed her arms against her chest. Sid smiles,

"So cutee' he pinched her cheek and moves close to her cheek to kiss but interrupted by his mobile ring.

"Grr' annoyed him,

"what?...' yelled sid over the phone. 

His mobile slipped down from his hand shattered in the floor. 

Roli flinched then looked at sid and shocked after seeing his tears scrolling cheeks. 

"Sidhant? What happened?..' she grabbed his arms. Hearing her voice brings more tears in his eyes,

"Ro-Roli-Roli?...' stammers him like a broken kid.
