Chapter 21

MORNING:

Roli opened her heavy eyelids and closed it as soon as the penetrating sun rays touched beautiful pupils. She grons blocking the bright light by placing her palm over her eyes. 

"Close the curtains Sid' mumbles her pulling her duvet above her head. She waits for a second for sid's response but didn't get anything. Roli opened her eyes and examined the place next to her in their king sized bed. 

"Where is he?...' whispers her sat on the bed. 

"Ishh' a painful hiss escaped from her mouth after piercing sore hit her. She touched her waist and found it was bare. A deep blush coated her cheeks as she recalls the previous night with sidhant. 

"Godd' she bites her own petal lips to control her shyness. 

Roli got down from the bed with a wrapped duvet around her. She came out from her room,

"Si...' she paused as she spotted an amazing scene before her eyes. 

"Why you are so cute?' queries roli walking towards her kitchen. Sid whipped his head and smiled at roli,

"Not more than my beautiful baby' says him walking towards her. He gathered her inside his arms and pressed his chin in her soft shoulder. 

"How are you?..' asks sid rocking her. Roli smiles,

"Happy....like never before! Thank you' she pecked his chest. Sid beams,

"I'm preparing breakfast for you' 

"you're so cute' she flicked his nose making him grunt. 

Roli sniffles something,

"Is that toast?...' asks her looking past sid's shoulder. 

"Oh shit' sid ran near his toaster. Sid pouted his lips seeing his burned toast. He shows the toast to roli with a sad face. Roli giggles reaching him. She took it from his hand. 

"Yum sidhant' hums roli with her mouthful of burned toast. 

"Little bitter, but crunchy' says her chewing. Sid held her wrist and brings the toast near his mouth and ate it. 

"And sweet too' winks him with a smirk. 

They finished the toast sharing with each other. 

"Roli?...' calls sid washing the dishes and looking at her who was sipping juice. 

"Hmm?' she hummed forwarding the glass to sid making him take a sip. 

"You haven't brushed yet?...' informed him chuckling. Roli widened her eyes with the glass tip in her mouth. Sid leaned on the counter crossing his arms. She saw him then shrugged her shoulders like "so what'. He laughed before pulling her close to him. 

"This is beautiful' says him tracing his thumb pad on her collarbone. Roli blushed as she knew what he was talking about. 

"You going to hide it?..' 

"no' replied roli cupping his chin. 

"I'm not going to hide it, I want everyone to know that I'm yours!' whispers her looked into his eyes. A grin crept over his lips, he bents down and pecked her cheek and stroking her collarbone where the hickey was there. 

Slowly his peck filled her face before landed on her lips. 

COLLEGE CANTEEN:

AFTERNOON:

"Oh my god! Is that a hickey?...' airaa's jaw dropped down. Sid rolled his eyes whilst roli downed her head to hide her pink cheeks. 

"Yeah hickey only, what's your problem?..' asks sid uninterestingly. 

"That means you and roli..' she waves her hand between rosid numbly. Rocky, Dhruv and samira chortles seeing her reaction. Sid annoyed,

"Stop reacting like, we made a big mistake airaa!' yells sid in a soft tone. 

"Yes big mistake only, how dare you beat me and rocky in this? We two of us got together after a year of our dating (rocky spit his water out) but you two, just in 6 months' frustrated her truly. Sid slapped his forehead while dhruv rubs the coughing rocky's back laughingly. 

"This is so embarrassing' mumbles roli hides her face in sid's shoulder. 

"Do you understand, what you are talking?...' rocky slapped airaa's back head.

"Yeah wha..' she stopped....

"oh my goddd (she covered her mouth with her palms) erase it from your mind guys' she whined at his laughing friends. 

Roli and sam were walking in the corridor moving near their class room. 

"J.Roli diwedi...' 

A voice caused roli and sam to turn. They spotted riya with her gang. Riya smirks at roli confusing her. 

"What?..' annoyed sam. 

"this is your record note, isn't it?...' jiya scrunched her forehead showing fake confusion. Roli's eyes went wide,

"Riya di...give it to me' asked roli pleadingly.

"Oh wow, you have finished everything..good girl' riya gave an impressed look at roli's work. 

"I'm telling you for the last time riya, give the record to roli' sam warned pointing her finger. Riya ignored sam's threaten,

"our semesters are nearing, that means we have to submit our record works before exam right?' enquired riya to her friends innocently. 

"Tomorrow is the submission day riya, a first year student said' informed riya's friend daksha. Riya smirks evilly,

"Riya di...' 

Roli's face turned pale as she saw how riya takes a water bottle from her bag. 

"No..No' roli shouts as riya dropped her note in the floor then poured water on it. 

"You bit**' infuriated sam pushing the bottle aside. 

Roli took her note and noticed it was drenched fully. Her eyes filled with tears. 

"Submit your record soon roli, Don't be late, john sir is so strict' quips riya before walking away. 

"Bi***' sam called out loudly clenching her jaw. She took her mobile out and dials sid's number.

"The devil...' sid cursed riya stroking roli's left who was leaning on his shoulder and staring her soaked note. 

"don't worry, I'll help you to finish'

"Tomorrow is our submission day sidhant' her voice cracked. 

"Hey..Hey..don't cry dear, we will find a way' he kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly. 

EVENING:

"Drink coffee roli' sid placed her mug beside her books and new record. 

"Thank you' she forced a smile and continuing her work. 

Sid turned his heels to go out,

"Sidhant?...' calls her halting him. 

"Yeah baby' grins him placing his hand in her cheek. 

"if-if you don't mind can you pr-prepare dinner for us tonight?..' asks her with her sadness laced voice. Sid smiles,

"I'm already cutting vegetables for your favorite Dal Makhani' revealed him tucking hairs behind her ear. Roli brings his hand near her mouth and kissed his palm. She hugged him wrapping her hands around his waist. Sid beams before pressing kiss on her crown. 

NIGHT:

"Roli dinner is ready' sid calls her from the kitchen. 

"Honey, come dear!' he walks near his room. 

"Roli..' sid shut his mouth as he saw roli was sleeping resting her head on the record. He felt sorry for her because he knew how she was writing the record from noon to now without any breaks. 

Sid scooped her in his arms from the desk then dropped her on the bed. 

"Good night sweetie' mumbles him gave her his usual good night kiss. 

Sid went to the desk and sat on it. 

MORNING: 

Roli growls rubbing her eyes. 

"Good morning baby'

Roli heard Sid's wish. She smiled sleepily,

"Good morn...' her words went incomplete after seeing sid on the desk doing something. 

"Oh my god' whines her jumped down from the bed. 

"Why did you let me sleep sidhant?' she cries rushing near sid. Her jaw dropped down as she saw sid was working on her record. 

"This is the last one roli, I've finished the left side. You have to do is writing only, our handwritings are different roli otherwise i would have finished that too' smiles him marking parts on the lungs drawing. 

"And honey one happy news, john sir messaged me now. He said, he won't come two days to college as he is going to attend conference. Soooo, you have whole two days to finish your record..' chuckles him finally lifting his head to see her. 

Roli saw his red shot eyes and dark circles around his eyes indicating he wasn't sleep last night. 

"Oh god, i love you so much' cries roli pressed her lips on his. 

"Love you too baby' replied him against her lips before pulling her on his lap. 

FIRST YEAR CLASSROOM:

John was in roli's classroom valuating students records whilst some students were preparing for their upcoming exam and some were gossiping and giggling. 

"J. Roli diwedi?...' he calls out grabbing roli's attention who was studying with Sam. 

"Sir?...' she rose up with a confusion. 

"come here child' 

Roli saw sam who reflects her same confused look like hers. She walked near him,

"Sir?..'

"who drew this?..and this? this? this?...' asks him turning every pages. Roli's heart dropped in her stomach in fear. 

"S-Sir..I'm..'

"Come to my office with sidhant' ordered him got uo from his place then went out left roli in tears. 

JOHN'S OFFICE:

"so Mr. Bharadwaj, can you please explain me how she got your drawing in her note?...' 

Roli weeps looking at sidhant who stood beside her calmly. 

Roli cries this time loudly and shivers more in fear. 

"Oh no no no, sidhant tell your girl to stop' speaks john frantically. 

"That's why I told you to don't scare my girl so much sir' sid pouted his lips and hugged roli closer. 

"Hey baby don't cry' sid wiped her tears with his thumb. 

"Don't cry child, sidhant already told me about what happened to your old record note and he told me how he helped you with this new one' informed him pointing her record note. Roli weeps silently still snuggling in sid's chest watching John. 

"and he already submitted your old record for a proof. We were just planning to scare you for a moment but it went so far' john smiles apologetically. 

Roli got up from sid's chest,

"No sir, don't be sorry' roli nodded her head like a little girl. Sid and john smiles at her. 

"Ok roli, as a professor i can't give you full marks for your internal. Prepare for your external well and compensate ok dear?...'

"Yes sir' roli grins widely. 

"everything is sorted' sid sighed putting his hand around roli's shoulder as soon as he came out from john's office. Roli looks here and there before pulling him for an hungry kiss. 

"God love me so much I think, that's why he sent you for me' confessed roli kissing him more and more passionately. 

DAYS HAVE PASSED:

"That's why I told you to don't play in the rain' scolds sid checking roli's temperature. He found it was normal,

"It's normal' said him wriggling his eyebrows. 

"Then why I'm feeling nauseous and body sore' she pouted her lips and pressing her hand in her throbbing forehead. 

Sid shrugged his shoulders...

"You're a medical student sidhant' groaned her. 

"Oh yeah' sid got up from the bed then went near his desk to take out his stethoscope. 

"I'm a doctor now' said him in a rough tongue like a serious doctor. Roli giggles adjusts herself and sat straight. 

"So Miss. Roli diwedi, what's your problem?..' asks him putting the earpieces in his ears. 

"Doctor, since yesterday I'm feeling so weak, nauseous, and migraine...' listed her. Sid took a breath,

"Don't lie to the doctor roli, tell how you played in the rain two days back'

"Shh, doctor will scold me' she shushed him. Sid rolled his eyes. 

"Ok Miss. Roli, let me check you. Can you please lay down?' 

Roli nodded her head then laid down. Sid pressed the diaphragm on her chest and hears her high rated heart beats. 

"Are you nervous?..' asks sid worriedly. Roli perplexed,

"no, why should I?'

"then why your heart is beating rapidly?...' mumbles him to himself. Took her hand to check her pulse,

Sid widened his eyes and his jaw dropped down...

A sudden fear occurred inside roli. 

"What?...' whispered her in a quivering tone. 

"We-We-need to take a test' said him horrifying her.
