Chapter 5

Kusum opens the door. 

Kumud: Is everything okay?

Kusum: Yes, everything is fine.

Kumud: You seem tense. If you have any problem, please tell me. Are you ready for the marriage?

Kusum: Yes, I am ready.

Kumud: Come downstairs. Everyone are waiting.

Arjun's music class is going fine. He learns classical music very fast. Vidyachatur and the other ladies came to his room and said, "Kumud will get married. Guests will be coming. Please be ready."

Arjun dresses himself up and begins to fool with other ladies.

Kumud: Stop fooling and get ready.

Arjun: I am ready and looking better than you.

Kumud: I have not got ready. Once I am glad, then you tell me who will look better.

Kumud dresses herself up and comes down before the wedding starts. Arjun sees her & is unable to take his eyes off her.

Kusum gets married to Pramad. Arjun keeps looking at Kumud & gets mesmerized by her beauty. The background song is

Kumud looks at Arjun & walks off shyly.

After the wedding, Arjun follows Kumud.

Arjun: I want to tell you something important.

Kumud: Not now. I have lots of work. There are so many guests.

He holds her hand

Arjun: Just 5 minutes, please.

Kumud: Please don't create the scene. People are watching here.

Arjun: Let me speak my heart to you. Then you can go.

Kumud tries to let go of his hands but fails. 

She slaps Arjun and walks off. Arjun goes angrily to his room and locks himself inside the room.

Kusum is leaving for her sasuraal. All the ladies are making preparations for their dance program.

Kumud went to Arjun's room and said, "I am sorry, I have misbehaved with you, but I didn't mean to behave like that with you. Now you can tell me whatever you want. I will listen to you. Please open the door."

Arjun: I want to tell you that you are not worthy of my love.

Kumud: Fine, after the end of this program, there will be other guys who will be crazy after me. If anyone feels that I am worthy of his love and asks for my hand, then you will keep looking.

She leaves.
