Chapter 8

Roli moved near Siddhant with evil smile while Siddhant was still busy in searching the locket....

Roli was much closer to Siddhant and stretches her hand to push him down in the side bush but before she could do that Siddhant turned towards her sensing someone behind him...

Roli took her hand back swiftly before Sid notices and looked at his face only to see his eyes filled with tears... She was shocked for a moment to see him like that for a while she was confused thinking what happened to him...she was looking at him keenly and her eyes shrinked seeing him sobbing , she was dazed , she forgot what she has come to do for now she can see Siddhant crying in front of her standing on the road , she quickly moves to him and cupped his face then asks with concern " hey... Siddhant what happened why are you crying "

" Roli... Roli... Roli .. " Siddhant sobs holding both of her hands and was continuously repeating her name not knowing what to say further what to do next...

Unknowingly Roli's eyes also became wet she asked with so much of concern in her voice " what happened..."

" I .. I ... Roli .. I " Siddhant stammers on his words then suddenly shoved off her hands from his face then turning towards road he again started searching that locket repeatedly murmuring " I've to find that... I've to find that ..."

Roli looked Siddhant confused thinking what happened to him why he's behaving like that ...she moved to him then turned him towards her and asked " what happened to you... What are you searching ..??? "

Siddhant : that...that locket

Roli : which locket Siddhant ...

Siddhant : it was mumma locket , it was her mother's last memory ... I lost it Roli... I lost it... I've to find that

Roli stood stunned after hearing still she asked " Mami's ? "

Siddhant nodded no and answered " bhabhi "

Roli's eyes widened listening to it and she knows how much Sid might been feeling guilty to lose such a precious thing of bhabhi and also she knows how close Sid is to simar then it's obvious Sid also is feeling pain the same how much simar might be feeling or maybe more than that as it's he who lost it...

Siddhant : I made bhabhi cry Roli... I made my mumma cry

Roli looked at Sid for a while then neared him and hugged him , Sid too hugs her tightly as it was needed by him very much .. Roli caressed his back then told " we'll find it..."

Siddhant pulled himself back then looking into her eyes asks with eagerness " will you help me "

Roli slightly nodded Yes making him to smile little having a breath of relief thinking he's not alone...he got a helping hand and now he was sure to find it ...

" Thank you " whispers Sid slightly holding her both hands... That's how they're , Roli isn't that harsh to still think of her morning revenge even after seeing him in such a miserable condition while on the other hand Sid isn't that much egoistic to not to take her help when he needed the most ...they are yet to realize this side of there relationship where they stands together , Roli won't think before giving him her support whenever she finds him in a broken state and Sid too won't feel hesitated to hold her hand and overcome the situations...

Roli wiped Sid's tears then asks " ok first tell me how it looks also when, where and how you lost that "

Siddhant nodded and narrated whole incident about how he lost that... Roli gets panicked hearing everything she quickly started to examine him with a tensed face then asks " you are ok... right ... You didn't got any hurt right... How can he collide his car with you don't he knows how to drive.. "

Siddhant quickly raised his head up and looked at Roli with a amaze ... In all this he himself forgot that he met with a minor accident which was the actual cause because of which he lost that locket and what surprised him most was no one in the house asked him if he's fine or not but she ... she's asking him ... At that moment his eyes got wet seeing her concern...

" You are fine right ..." Asked Roli again making him come out of his thoughts , Siddhant slightly nodded Yes and Roli took a breath of relief ... Siddhant was continuously looking at Roli's every expressions...

" Ok let's go and see there again you don't worry ok... we'll find it " saying so Roli held Sid's hand then took him to that spot and Siddhant without saying anything just following her fixing his eyes on her...

They reached there and Roli asked him where he was that time... Siddhant just pointed the place without saying anything... Roli looked here and there rounding her head in all the directions to see if she can find something useful and that's when she saw a CC camera hanging on to the pole just below the traffic lights , she smiles big then shaking Siddhant she said " Siddhant see there... Camera "

Siddhant looked at it then to Roli with a gratitude for her help ... Roli smiled then patted on his cheeks and told " now don't worry we'll find it ...ok "

Siddhant nodded lightly then says " in the tension I didn't noticed that..."

Roli : it's ok I know how much tensed you are.... you face is showing everything...ok let's not waste the time come come we'll see into it

Siddhant and Roli went to traffic police present there and asks for their help... First he asked them to file the case too for theft then they'll look into it...all went into their station counter , Siddhant filed the case and then they looked into the recording and found a man was picking the locket up and looking here and there puts it into his pocket and went from there to next street before anyone gets any doubt on him....

Taking that recording with them they headed to that street to find that person... Roli and Siddhant were together and other police men were together in other direction...

All were searching for that thief.. after some time one of the shopkeeper recognized the theif and directed Rosid to near his stay out... informing to other police men Rosid started to move towards his house....

In Bharadwaj mansion all were so tensed thinking about Siddhant ... Sujatha kept her head on Raj shoulder and a drop of tear rolled down her eyes...she murmures " I'm feeling so restless  , it feels like my Siddhant is in danger , I can sense it my Siddhant is not safe something bad is going to happen... "

Rajendra wrapped his hand around her and says consoling her " don't worry .. nothing will happen to him... Prem went there right he'll bring our Siddhant back safely... don't worry " he told to console her but a part of his heart was also not in peace even he too got a feeling that his Sid is in any problem but still he has a belief that nothing will happen to him ...

Prem and Sam was going to that place with full speed how much they could... They went just within a gap of ten minutes from Siddhant but to there surprise Siddhant went too fast that they weren't able to find him in middle....

Rosid reached his house and saw him sitting at a shop chilling with his group it seems...why not it's obvious that he might be so happy , firstly he got a gold locket and over that it has celestial compass which has an antique touch making it a desirable piece for those who are fond of collecting antiques and he can make an amazing deal with it...

Siddhant was glaring at him in anger seeing him laughing...they went to him and Sid directly asked " I want that locket back which you took from the road few hours before "

Hearing this his eyes got widened and horror strike his face but still he tried to manage " which...which locket... I don't know any locket ... What are you talking about "

Siddhant : see please I want that locket... it's ours please give it back... I'm requesting you politely please give otherwise it won't be good for you

" I don't know anything about your locket ... please leave me and go " saying it he tried to move from there but before that Roli flashed her phone in front of his eyes showing the video where he was picking up the locket and keeping it in his pocket then moving from there....

He started sweating profusely knowing that he's caught , he started shivering little in fear and was continuously looking at Roli and Siddhant without knowing what to do further...

Siddhant : so what would you say now... still you want to say that you don't know anything about it...

Roli forwarded her hand towards him and asks " now give it back.. "

Till that time police too reached that spot and seeing Police there he got more afraid and pushing Siddhant on to Roli he ran from there... Siddhant fell on Roli, it was so unexpected that Roli couldn't handle and both fell down on to the ground but before that Sid protectively kept his hand behind Roli head preventing it from getting hurt... Both had an eyelock for a second but soon they broke it.. a police officer helped Sid to get up and then Sid helped Roli and asked " you are ok right , you didn't got hurt naa "

Roli nodded seeing Siddhant who was asking caressing her head...

Siddhant then told " we've to catch him first..."

Police instructed everyone to spread in either direction and all went on his command ... " You be with me " Siddhant told holding Roli's hand into his ... Roli nodded and both went to chase the theif...

Prem and Sam reached that spot and was searching for Sid here and there but couldn't find him near it..they went little more further on that road and found Sid's bike was parked at a side of the road...it confirmed that he's nearby only...they too parked car near his bike and went into different direction to find him...

Here Siddhant and Roli were chasing him from long and at last they reached on to the main road and for there relief just then only the traffic got open and vehicles started to move making difficult for him to cross the road and he knew that he can't cross it... Rosid reached to him and asked again while panting " at least give it now... "

Siddhant moved near him to take the locket but he started to hit Siddhant...

" Careful ..." Escaped from Roli's mouth..

Siddhant looked at her for a second and nodded then started to defend...fight started between these two it lasts for few minutes and Siddhant overtook him then took the locket out from his pocket and looked at it emotionally thinking finally he got it back...he knows it that what importance it has in simar's life...it was not precious because it was made of gold but because it holds so much of emotions...it was her mother's blessings and he knew that how much simar had preserved it...she has never sold to get money when she was in need of it and also never kept it for pawn ...this itself shows how much close it is to her and when Siddhant lost it he can see the pain on her face in her tears and finally now he could give it back to her... he smiles little seeing it and looked at Roli, Roli too shows her victorious smile with slight moist eyes....

It was then police too came there to arrest that man but seeing police coming near him with a force he pushed Siddhant...

Siddhant was pushed down , he fell into the mud and his hand skids into the mud which made him to roll down on to the road and until Siddhant gets up one car came and hits him throwing him aside...

" Roliiiiiiiiiii .........." Siddhant landed on to the road screaming while his head started bleeding badly...

" Siddhanttt...." Shouted Roli and runs to him...

Hearing Roli's shouting , Prem and Sam who was in nearby street rushed towards it....

Roli reached to him and taking his head in his lap she begins to cry...." Siddhant... Siddhant ... ohhh my God... someone call ambulance please..."

Siddhant was breathing heavily and was unable to bear the pain his head was bleeding continuously making him feel drowsy...his eyes were getting closed again and again ...

Roli was continuously slapping on his cheeks to keep him awake and was talking to him " Siddhant see.. here... Siddhant look at me... Siddhant don't close your eyes... Siddhant... Siddhant talk to me..."

Siddhant vision was getting blurry he could see that Roli is trying hard to keep him awake and was crying seeing him ... He too tries to stay awake but his body wasn't supporting him and because of the much blood loss he blacked out in her lap making Roli numb ...

" Siddhanttt " shouted Prem and Sam together reaching at the spot... Prem was terrified seeing Siddhant in such a state he wasn't able to understand what has happened what he should do...

" Bhaiya... Prem Bhaiya... Siddhant..save him... bhaiya please save him " cries Roli looking at Prem ... Prem came out from his thoughts and immediately rushes to Sid he too tried to wake him up but all in vain...

Sam murmured after gaining up some courage " let's take him to hospital ... "

Prem quickly took Siddhant with the help of Sam and they moved towards their car... while Roli was looking at Sid's hand which was hanging in the air holding that locket tightly into his fist which was filled with blood and turned into red....

At home Sujatha shouted " Siddhanttt " as she felt something happened to him all gets panicked on her shout and started to make her calm down who was continuously asking for Siddhant... Unknown to him Rajendra eyes started filling with tears and he felt a pain in his heart....he grabbed his phone from the table near by then called Prem to ask what's happening there....

As the phone was picked Prem informed " Dad.... Dad ... Siddhant... he met with accident "

The hold on Phone got loosened and it fell from Rajendra hand he stood silently for a while until he was able to digest the news and then all rushed to hospital....

PRECAP :

Prem : yeah doctor you are right... actually Siddhant is an adopted one that's why it isn't matching with any of us ...

Prem hears a gasp behind him and he turned to see who it is....
