The Battle of Emotions Part 1

A girl shown sobbing quietly on her bed. The doorbell rings. The girl tries to get up but feels too weak  and her knees fall on the floor and she starts crying even more, recalling those harsh words from the person she had learnt to love like a father and whom in return loved her like a daughter, she at least had thought anyway but she was proved wrong. She asked herself how can a father ever doubt his own daughter and that man had clearly doubted her for something she could never even think of doing, was his trust weakening day by day she sure thought it was. She curls up in a ball like a child would do when scared or upset, she just wished she could stay like this forever but she knew she would eventually have to get up and face her problems, if not for herself then for her mother. She tried to get up but she did not have enough strength, so she remained in a curled up ball for a little longer and cried her heart out.

Shahana was busy making herself a sandwich and was confused on why Prachi didn't go to answer the doorbell for it was most likely Sartia ji and Pragya. Shahana goes to the doorbell to answer it.

Shahana gives out a fake smile to the Pragya and Sarita ji and thinks that Maasi, I know how you will react to Rhea's suicide attempt so that's why me and Prachi must keep it secret from you. "You guys..." Shahana began to say but was interrupted but loud crying and Shahana, Sarita Ji and Pragya ran towards the sound of the crying.

The trio reach Prachi's room only to see her curled up on the floor in a small ball crying as if her life depended on it. Pragya goes to Prachi and whispers in a gentle tone, "what happened Prachi why are you crying?" Prachi looks into Pragya's eyes, with tears still in her eyes and says, knowing that she won't be able to hide anything from her dear mother, "Rh...Rhea att..attemp.....attempted su.....suic....suicide." Pragya gets tensed but then quickly says, " she will get better her family is there with her na, they will take care of her, so you don't worry," while caressing Prachi's cheeks and Shahana mentally face-plams herself and thinks, Prachi too knew about the incident earlier and she wasn't crying just tensed, but on hearing Prachi's next remark she gets her answer.

Ranbir says, "no Prachi's mother does not know." Aryan replies, "then call her she will tell Prachi to not come to the hospital herself." Ranbir agrees and calls Pragya but the call remains unanswered and says, "she's not picking the phone either, maybe we should go to their house and tell Prachi not to come." Aryan says, "no we can't for our families will suspect and they too will come to meet Prachi but they will not be there to warn her instead they will vent out their frustration on her." Ranbir sighs, "you do have a point Aryan but else can we do then?" Aryan sees Ranbir's Dida coming and messages something and Ranbir nods at Aryan. Dida says with a sad smile (to Ranbir), "I know that a girl like Prachi can't have anything to with Maya and I have heard your conversation with Aryan and my trust on Prachi has only multiplied for even if you have a soft corner for Prachi, Aryan does not and he still believes Prachi, so how can I not. Now do what you need to, to prove Prachi innocent." Ranbir gives a small smile and thinks, thank god that at least someone other than Aryan believes in Prachi and the trio go in Ranbir's car.

The trio reach the car and Dida sits in the back sit while Ranbir sits at the driver seat and Aryan sits besides him on the passenger seat. Ranbir dials a number and keeps it on speaker hoping that the person would answer the call.

Prachi sobs, "Rhea is fine but she attempted suicide because of ...m..me as she th...thou...thought that.. I came bet...between h..her and R..Ran..Ranbir." Pragya and Sartia ji say, "who told you this nonsense," while Shahana gets a call and sees Ranbir name flashing on the screen so she picks it up thinking that, Ranbir will be able to console Prachi through the phone. Before Shahana or Ranbir could say anything Prachi replies still crying, "Me...Mehra si..sir told so and not only that they also thi..think tha..that I plan..planted Ma..Maya in Ran..Ranbir's life so that I cou...could separate him and Rhe..Rhea and...." Before, Prachi could finish she lets out a hiccup and Pragya immediately goes up to get Prachi some water as she let out a couple more hiccups. 

Ranbir, Dida and Aryan all felt bad for Prachi and Dida says, "Poor Prachi she has to suffer for something she has not even done, I cannot even think how Vikram and Pallavi managed to believe Maya this time and what shocks me even more is that Abhi, of all people could not believe Prachi but could believe Maya." Ranbir wonders out loud in a sad low voice with tears at the edge of his eyes, on hearing his love cry tears of pure sadness, "even I can't believe that chief could believe Maya and not Prachi, I know that this a matter concerning his daughter but he did also consider Prachi as his daughter so what made him believe Maya?" 

Shahana doesn't disconnect the call for she and Sartia ji are trying to console a devastated and broken Prachi and Ranbir doesn't disconnect it for he needs to talk to Prachi and let her know that even if chief doesn't trust her, he still does. 

Pragya comes back with a glass of water and makes Prachi drink it and says, with tears  almost escaping her eyes but she quickly blinks them away, "Prachi, what happens if someone who thinks your a bad person doesn't trust you, if you believe everyone then everyone in the world is bad no one is good you shouldn't think so much about others opinions." Prachi, who just stopped crying replies, "Maa, I can tolerate anything and everything but not Mehra sirs hatred and he hates me Maa, he hates me," and she bursts out crying, again. Pragya, Shahana, Sartia ji, Dida, Aryan and Ranbir all too had tears in their eyes on seeing/hearing how much Abhi's trust mattered to Prachi. 

"Prachi, I didn't tell you who did your accident at the hospital because I was afraid that Ranbir or Aryan would hear me and go and tell Mr. Mehra but today I will tell Mr. Mehra myself that if his daughter is capable of planning someone's murder, who is he to blame someone's else's daughter for being someone's reason of suicide." Pragya leaves with rage clearly visible in her eyes. 

Ranbir thinks it's best to go to Prachi's house and talk to her in person so he disconnects the call. Dida gets shocked on hearing Pragya talk about Rhea planning to murder Prachi and asks, "Ranbir, is this true? Did Rhea really plan Prachi's murder?" Ranbir replies, "yes, Dida Rhea did plan Prachi's murder and not only that you she also spiked Prachi's drink in the Diwali party, she with Sanju made Prachi's mms, she was also the one to ask someone to put drugs in Prachi's bags on my birthday and she was the one who recently teamed up with Sanju to put the blame on Prachi for the 10 Lakh rupee robbery. I know all of this because I heard Sartia Aunty tell Prachi and Shahana all this in the hospital." Dida gets shocked and says, "why didn't you tell anyone, if you told someone Prachi would never have been accused of planting Maya into your life." Ranbir replies, "Dida I would've told everyone but Prachi told me not to tell anyone especially chief." Dida silently vows, Prachi has a heart of gold yet still my son and daughter-in-law are doubting her of crimes she could never even think of and supporting a selfish spoilt brat. No matter I myself will make sure that Ranbir does not get married to Rhea and only gets married to Prachi, even if Rhea is Abhi's daughter she is nothing like her.

Alia says, "I went to Maya's house and made her say that she and Prachi are friends and she planted her in Ranbir's life so she could separate you and Ranbir to take revenge from you and everyone, even Bhai believes the video." Riya smirks but then says, with a hopeful expression, "does Ranbir believe the video?" Alia says, "I don't know but if Ranbir's family members belive it then there will be no problem for Ranbir's parents will never let even meet Prachi again, so Prachi and Ranbir's marriage will be something that is near to impossible." Riya gets happy, but then says, in a serious expression "but Buji, mom doesn't love me she is so selfish I will never forgive in my next ten lives forgiving in her this life is not near impossible, it is impossible, I am sorry Buji for ever doubting you and your intentions." Alia smiles and says, "it's okay sweetheart, if I was in your shoes I would've thought the same I'm just glad that your in your right mind again, now promise me that you'll never attempt suicide again for I will always love you." Riya says, "I promise you Buji, I will never attempt  suicide again and I will never forgive my mother and especially, Prachi, for snatching everyone away from me, first Mom, then Ranbir and then Dad, no she will pay." Riya for some reason felt that if she was wrong and Prachi was right but then she reminds herself that Prachi is selfish just like her mother, but a small part of her still felt that she was always wrong and Prachi was always right.  

The nurse comes in and says that, "Miss. Mehra can be taken home only if you can take proper care." Alia happily says, "Thank you!" Alia helps Riya get up and Pallavi and Vikram come to Riya. Pallavi says, "Beta, don't worry only you will marry Ranbir and I will make sure that Prachi leaves from his life and that he forgets all about her, after all Prachi has done I cannot forgive her she separated you from Ranbir and she is trying to separate me from Ranbir too but we shall not let her succeed." Vikram nods in agreement and says, "now your and Ranbir's marriage is not only important for you but also for Abhi's and my friendship, so this marriage will happen at any cost." Riya gets happy but somewhere deep inside she feels bad for Prachi. Riya, Pallavi, Vikram, Alia, Mittali and Abhi's Dadi leave for Mehra masion. Alia thinks to message Abhi as he might still be scolding Prachi and that Prachi should suffer for ever even entering their lives. Alia messages Abhi to come straight to Mehra masion as Riya had been given discharge from hospital.

Abhi is still recalling all his moments with Prachi and how Riya was in hospital because of Prachi, how Riya used to feel jealous of Prachi. Abhi feels guilty as he supported Prachi whenever she was in trouble and here Prachi was planning revenge from his daughter. Abhi hears a notification tone but ignores it and goes straight towards the hospital.

Abhi reaches the hospital but gets confused on seeing no one their and is about to call Alia when he sees her message saying that Rhea got discharge from hospital. He gets happy and drives home.

Pragya furiously rings the doorbell, multiple times. A man who was wondering why someone was ringing the doorbell like a lunatic goes to the door to open it and gets shocked to see the fury in the Pragya's eyes and says, "What are you doing here?"
