Part - 39
Roli stood before a bungalow, which was surrounded by trees all around. It seemed to be an isolated area, where none was there around. Why her manager has choosed such a place, she wondered. But, before she could think anything else, that car driver came forward and lead her into the bungalow.
As she entered in, her manager got up and reached her.
"Which place is this?" Roli asked, looking around. But, her manager didn't answer and looked at her nervously.
Roli looked at his anxious face as she asked "is everything alright?".
"Yes, Miss Roli diwedi" she heard a voice and turned to look at the source. There she spotted a guy descending the stairs.
"If not, then we'll make it alright" by now he reached down and stood before her.
"You.." roli tried to recognize him.
"I'm the one, who you bumped to back then" he cleared her doubt with a smile.
By now roli got reminded of that incident. But, why he's here now? She was confused.
"I'm veeru" roli's eyes got wide open as she heard it from him.
"Ve.. veeru" she mumbled in shock.
"You must have known about me. After all you were there with siddhant for sometime, right?" Veeru smirked.
"It's too sad to know that how that siddhant betrayed you. He's such a jerk and cold hearted who can never understand anyone's feelings. He is just..."
"Enough.." roli shouted, making veeru to shut his mouth.
Who the hell was he to say anything about her siddhant.
Veeru was stunned for a moment to see roli glaring at him.
"It's okay. I can understand that you don't want to talk about someone who betrayed you" veeru came to a conclusion that she didn't even want to talk about sid.
Where as the fact was something else.
Roli looked away as she felt disgusted to see his face.
"I've a long time rivalry with siddhant and now you too may want to teach him a lesson for whatever he did to you. When we both have a same goal then why can't we do it together?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.
Is he planning to harm siddhant, roli got tensed but, didn't show it out.
"I don't want to do anything. And definitely not with you" roli replied straightforwardly.
Veeru smiled evilly and took a step ahead to her and said "I thought you knew about me but, seems like you don't".
"Is this what you said as meeting?" Roli said in anger, looking at her manager, who was looking down without facing her.
"Why you're showing your anger on that poor manager? He's just trying to save his little daughter, whom we kept caged" veeru said with an evil laughter.
"What?" Roli was shocked.
"Actually we thought to ask him politely but, he didn't agree. So, we got no other way than forcing him" veeru continued, faking a sad face.
"Leave his daughter" roli said determinately.
"For that I want something else" veeru replied.
"That land property, right? I'll give it to you but, before that you should hand over his daughter to me" roli couldn't take anyone suffering because of her. So, she was determined to save the little girl at any cost.
But, veeru had got something worst in his mind as he pointed his finger at roli and said "you... I want you".
"What do you mean?" Roli yelled angrily.
"I mean I like you since the time I saw you. And now even siddhant isn't there as hindrance then why don't we.." veeru took out his hand to touch her but, roli swiftly showed it off.
"Don't you dare to even think about it" roli warned, looking at him disgustingly.
"Roli, at present you're in my place. You can't step out from here without my wish. And do you really think I'll let you go from here without taking what I want" veeru started moving towards her.
Roli was in daze as she took backward steps. Veeru was right that she couldn't move out of that place as his members were spread all over the hall.
But, how could sid allow his roli to face such situation all alone? Is it possible? Definitely No.
When veeru was a few steps away from roli, lights in the bungalow turned off with huge sounds. Everyone present there was jerked for a moment hearing shattering sounds.
"What the hell is happening here?" Veeru shouted in annoyance.
"Veeru, you better surrender yourself" a voice echoed from entrance of the hall. Not so later, a group of policemen made their way into hall. As soon as veeru saw them, he left roli and tried to escape from there. Policemen, without any further warning, had started firing with their guns.
Soon the hall was filled with shooting sounds of guns and throwing punches on faces.
Roli was too frightened at the sight that she didn't even dare to move. At the moment, a strong arm pulled her by closing her mouth and escorted her out of the bungalow. All the way she tried to come out of the hold but, not succeeded.
It was when they reached a little far from the bungalow, that person did loosen his grip over her. Roli took heavy breath as she turned around to look at the person. But, before she could even see his face, he pulled her into a tight hug.
And it wasn't hard for roli to realize whom that warm embrace belonged to. She quickly wrapped her hands around his waist and buried herself into his chest.
"Are you okay?" Sid asked as he caressed her hairs. Roli nodded her head, being within his embrace.
Sid broke the hug and looked at her. More than roli, sid looked scared. Scared with the thought of losing his roli.
"I'm fine" roli assured but, even that didn't change his serious and cold expression. He was super angry.
Like adding fuel to fire, Roli's manager arrived there, increasing Sid's anger.
"Is he your manager?" Sid asked, glancing at him seriously.
Roli nodded while the manager looked at her with guilt.
Sid thought of nothing else as he pointed his gun at him.
"Siddu... Don't" roli quickly dragged him back. "Veeru kidnapped his daughter and forced him to do this" she informed.
"I'm sorry ma'am.. I was helpless" Rohit, her manger, apologized with guilt.
"First we've to save your daughter" roli said and looked at sid.
Sid understood her and gave a glance to sunny and rahul, who were standing behind him all the while.
They both came forward as sunny said to rohit "we know all the places of veeru. Your daughter must be there at one of them. Let's go".
Sunny and rahul left the place with rohit to find his daughter.
Now only roli and sid were left there. Roli turned to sid, who was still looking serious.
"This shouldn't repeat. You've to listen to me" sid said strictly. Though he sounded a little rough, roli could surely feel his concern as she smiled and nodded obediently.
At that time a police officer reached them and did salute to sid in an official manner.
"We found so many illegal equipments inside the bungalow and seized them. But, we couldn't catch veeru, he ran off" police officer informed.
"He can't escape from us for any longer. As of now, don't leave any of his members with life" sid said in his authoritative tone.
"But.. Sir.. we got the orders for riding. We don't have the authority to kill anyone" police officer replied politely.
"Then i'm giving you the authority. Make it an encounter. Just shoot them down" sid ordered. His voice was cold and frightening to hear.
"Yes, Sir" that officer again did salute and left.
Sid, now turned to roli, who was looking at him in daze.
"You're not any gangster, right?" She asked, looking into his eyes.
"Yes, he's not" a voice came from behind, revealing a middle aged man getting down from the car.
Both roli and sid turned to him as he walked towards them. When he reached near, Sid did salute to him. That man smiled at him and then turned his attention to roli.
"He's not a gangster. He is Siddhant Bharadwaj, Assistant Commissioner of Police" he said proudly, tapping on Sid's shoulder, making roli stunned.
