Chapter 24 C

Dilshad kissed Zoya's forehead and told, "Take care.", at which she nodded her head and Najma held her hand and kissed and then both the mother daughter duo left the hospital and Asad remained at the hospital with Zoya.

Asad settled himself down on sofa, they both exchanging looks whether it is a glare from his side or innocence of hers.

And the long silence broke with a storm, the curtain above Zoya's head started flying and disturbing her. He immediately left the seat and with ease and care he held her head in his hands to let her sleep and finally closed the windows of the room.

With a tones of daring she said closing her eyes tightly, "I-I am sorry"

"You should be!", he glared in harsh tone.

"Anyways, accident ke bare me to samajh gaya main, par aapko hospital kaun lekar aaya?", he asked spontaneously.

"Ummm!!", Zoya tried to remember when her head pained when she tried to remember, "Ah!"

"It's okay!! Just rest down", he caressed her hand and was about to leave when the nurse came.

She came with an injection and a glucose drip in her platter, "Drip change karne ka time ho gaya hai sir!", and smiled.

"Oh! Sure", he left her hand and was about to leave when Zoya again tighten her hold on his wrist due to the pain of syringe.

She tightly closed her eyes, holding his wrist tightly at which he rubbed her palm as if indicating that he is with her.

She calmed down in seconds even before the end of syringe and opened her closed eye lids. She looked at him with eyes as who were asking, "PLEASE BE WITH ME"

After the completion of her job, the nurse exit pressing her lips to stop the smile and Zoya too left his hand realizing the situation.

 

Few Hours Later,

Asad grabbed the couch to sleep but the slumber was away from both the pair of eyes. They both were pretending each other as they have slept, but they didn't.

Asad and Zoya were reminiscing their first meeting which was not so happening.

The smile automatically adorned his lips when the black shawl, Zoya forgot outside the dargah, which he has kept with him, uncongnizantly.

"Oh! Hello Mr. Andhe Hone ke sath behre bhi ho gaye ho kya?", Zoya hit her head when she reminisced her stupidity in the deserted area. But somehow it was true; he wasn't even hearing his hearts feeling at which she pouted and slept due to pain killers effect.

"And if you cant  ... then stop walking on the road", Asad was about to laugh at his reply but he somehow controlled himself.

And suddenly a name came to his mind, Assemaah!! And all the colors faded out from his face.

What he has never thought, to share Aseemah's truth with Zoya. He has now going to discuss it with her and thought, "Chand Rat kal hai. Aur tumhe haqeeqat pata hogi. Kal or sirf kal.", a lone tear droplet destined to the floor, and he sit near her.

In the Morning,

The sunrays beamed on her innocent face, and Zoya rubbed her eyes and opened them. She rolled on the right side when she found that something touched to her hand which shivered her. She looked and realized that it was HIM, Asad Ahmed khan.

He was sitting on the stool whole night; his head was resting on her bed keeping his arm inside his head. She smiled and lightly shuffled his hairs, but when realized she take her fingers back.

She took a deep breath closing the eyes and smiled, "Mujhe nahi pata kya hai jo mujhe aapki taraf khichta hai chahe aap mujhe kitna bhi datein, Mujhe bas itna pata hai ke kal Chand ake mujhe mere sawal ka jawab dega...or...", she stopped in between when his night ended and he opened the eyes.

"Or...us sach ko main tumhe bataunga", A few minute later he murmured in his mind when he got up completing his sleep.

"Or...agar nahi bataya to main aap se poochungi", she stubbornly completed her thoughts and smiled.

Few minutes later,

"Recovery has done so quickly...just precautions are left", The doctor said while checking the health condition of Zoya.

"Precautions?", she asked.

"Yes. Proper food, proper walk and most importantly NO STRESS", the doctor described.

Zoya made a pout when doctor described the precautions in detail as she was not use to the boiled vegetables and soup.

She was checking the list when Asad entered inside, "I'm sorry doctor, I'm late... aap phir se bata sakti hain"

"Don't worry gentleman! Your wife is fine now", she smiled.

Asad and Zoya steal a glance when the doctor said YOUR WIFE and lost in each other's black orbs. Doctor realized it and coughed, "Aham!"

"So I there are some...", the doctor was about to describe the precautions again when Zoya interrupted so that she couldn't have the soup and boiled vegetables as the food.

She stammered, "D-dr. you have told me, I will explain"

"Okay!!", doctor replied and left.

Khan Villa,

Asad helped Zoya to come out from the car after the discharge from the hospital and when they reached Khan Villa, he again helped her. He embraced her waist and took her right hand in his to give support and Dilshad - Najma, who have already arranged her bedding and the whole room, gave her a glass of juice, which Dilshad forcefully let her drink.

"Mere bina precautions bataye hi precautions pata hain Phuppie ko!!", she pouted and somehow gulped the juice down from her throat.

Asad took her to her room and let her lay down on her bedding to cover her from the duvet.

He placed the medicine on her palm and forwarded the tablet but she stubbornly denied to gulp it down at which he ordered, "Have it!!", and glared but she again nodded her negatively.

"Have it! Don't you want to be fit?", he asked strictly.

"On one condition", she excitedly said.

"Kya?", he asked.

"You've to tell me why you are so serious? I mean I want to know everything about you", she again excitedly said.

He gulped down and Dilshad looked at the floor, who was noticing them and getting happy but her smile vanished at this.

"Chup chap se khaiye", he sighed.

"Par...", she pouted but he interrupted, "Khaiye!", he strictly ordered at which she bowed and gulped her medicine down and he again laid her down to let her sleep.

He left the stool and was about to leave when his mother hid herself, he looked back again at Zoya who was pretending to be asleep.

And he whispered in his mind, "Bataunga! Sab kuch par kal, mujhe bhi intezaar hai batane ka"

"Janne ka intezaar hai mujhe ke aap hain kaise aur kyu, after all her baat ke lie reason hota hai", she murmured in her mind under the blanket.

"Reason hai! Jo aap se kabhi nahi chupaana chahta main"

"I don't know what you are hiding par ... par kal main aapse jaanke rahungi"

"Wada hai ye mera aapse...ke main bataunga"

"Mazi (past), aaj aur kal sab kuch...kyun aap mujhe apni taraf khinchte hain...ya main khichi chali jati hoon"

"Kyun sirf aap hi ko batana chahta hoon"

"Allah Miyaan whats wrong with chand ...jaldi aa jaye"

"Aye chand ab jaldi aaja!!"
