Arfeen was pacing up and down in the living area, waiting for Haider to be back with Sara. His heart was racing and he didn't know how is he going to face her. He could hear the car entering the main gate and that just increased his heartbeat. He was looking at the door, with anxiousness. What if she refused to come? He heard the door click open and Haider came in. Arfeen looked beyond him to see if Sara came along, anxiety totally taking over him. There she entered. That gave him some sense of relief but not enough to reduce the heartbeats that he can hear himself now. 

Sara looked at Arfeen and tried to just stay calm. "Beta, Aapko aise bina bataye nahi jaana chahiye tha. Hum sab kitna pareshaan ho gaye the, pata hai aapko?" Arfeen said. More than anything, he was worried about her safety. "Aap theek hain na?" Arfeen asked, further. "Theek nahi hoon, par hone ki koshish karungi." Sara said, with coldness in her voice that was felt by both Haider and Arfeen. "Aapko mujhe sab batana dena chahiye tha Uncle. Itne din main apni Maa ko hi galat samjhti rahi. Ye samjhti rahi ki unhone aapko dhokha diya tha. Maine bhi wahi kiya unke saath jo puri duniya nein kiya tha. Maine bhi unhein hi galat samjha." Sara had tears in her eyes. "Beta galti aapki nahi hai. Humnein hi maazi chupaya aapse. Humari galti thi beta. Aap apne aapko qusoorwar mat thehrao please." Arfeen tried to ease out her pain but it was all the more painful for him. "Galti nahi thi. Aapnein aur aapke pure khandaan nein jo meri Maa ke saath kiya tha woh gunah-e-azeem tha." Sara couldn't hold it anymore. "Pata nahi kaise kisi ki ruh nahi kaanpi woh sab karte waqt jo meri Maa ke saath hua. Kya kisi ko ye ilm nahi tha ki ek din jab Mizaan kayaam hoga aur sab adaalaton mein se sab badi adaalat lagegi toh woh kis muh se Allah ke saamnein khade honge? Kya kisi ka imaan itna kamzor ho sakta hai?" Sara said, fresh tears brimming in her eyes. "Arfeen Uncle aap Ammi se bahut mohabbat karte the na? Aapki mohabbat bhi sach nahi dekh paayi?" Sara asked. 

"Andha ho gaya tha main. Gusse mein bilkul andha." Arfeen said, while almost falling on the sofa nearby. "Mujhe laga hi nahi tha itni parhezgaar Meri Maa Quran pe jhooth bol sakti thi." Arfeen said, removing his glasses and wiping the tears of guilt. "Kya aapki mohabbat itni choti thi ki aap Ammi ko maaf bhi nahi kar sakte the?" Sara asked. "Iss sawaal ka jawaab aaj tak nahi mila mujhe Beta." Arfeen said. "Par mujhe mil gaya Uncle, mujhe uss sawaal ka jawaab mil gaya." Sara said and went away. Arfeen looked at her and his heart couldn't take it, anymore.

Recently watched Meri Zaat Zarra-E-Benishaan again and have been thinking what a classic it is. Totally in love with it and was wondering how they could have extended the show for 1-2 episodes more and gave a closure to Arfeen and Sara. This TS is just the attempt to do so. Do tell me if I should continue. Also, if you have not watched the show, go binge watch!
