Anurag extended his hand to capture the raindrops that brought melancholy in his life. He looked at the rainwater accumulated in his palm and remembered her parting words. He promised her that he would do everything to save her. But he couldn’t. Slowly he saw his love of life slip away from him and he could do nothing. As he released the rainwater from his palm that mimicked his eyes he thought of her face when she took her last breath. She wants him to compete in the world level. How is that even possible anymore? He has not only lost the love of his but, but his partner too. Their hard work all these years holds no value. The duo was unbeatable, the emerging talent of the country. But now, everything is finished. He felt numb. He refused to perform any more on stage without her. So how will he be able to perform at the world level? He just has 6 months and by no means, he can make that possible and he cannot imagine dancing anyone other than her.
She looked at the handwritten letter couriered by father and couldn’t control her tears. It was the letter from her twin sister Pranati who passed away three months back. Nobody can fandom the pain she is going through due to the loss of her sister. Pranati was not just her sister but also her twin. They freaking shared the same umbilical cord inside their mother’s womb. And losing her was like losing a piece of her heart if not the entire heart. Her heated argument with her father this morning seems unnecessary now that she knows what her sister wanted. She freaking wanted that trophy. That was her dream. As if Prerna was not aware of it. That was the sole reason for Pranati refusing to pursue higher studies in UK. Prerna wished her sister chose higher studies over dance then she would have been alive today. Par shayad takdeer ko yeh manzoor nahi tha. Zindegi mein pehle baar Prerna ko iss modh pe lake khara kar diya where she needs to take a decision which she never thought will take. She wants to fulfil her sister’s last wish. For that, she will have to return to where she never wants to go anymore, the place that will remind her of her sister, the place where she has to face her demons. Her decision to return back to London was only for her sister because she was unable to cope up with the loss. Her phone buzzed. It was a whatsapp message from her father. A confirmation ticket flashed in front of her eyes. She is returning to India.
