Zokkomon's Safary Ride!

Darsheel Safary, at a raw pre-teen age became a face to be recognized in tinsel town, with his phenomenal performance as a dyslexic in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par. A feat of significance, when one thinks about the struggle involved in establishing oneself in Bollywood.

And now, he is all set to strike a superhero chord with the audiences!

His next project, Zokkomon, is a script jointly written by ex-Mumbai HC advocate Bhattal, his wife Svati and Lancy Fernandes.

Bhattal was earlier in the production team of Academy nominated Lagaan, where he went on to publish The Spirit of Lagaan.

The movie which revolves around the life of a young boy faced with a multitude of problems shows how he goes on to conquer his issues with sheer determination to do so. The superhero trait related with Darsheel's character, claims Bhattal, has nothing to do with extraordinary powers, but with an extraordinary will of an extremely ordinary boy in the face of diversities. It therefore, aims at promoting with an 'x' level of deviation from realism, a message of positivity and perseverance.

'Mann mein hai vishwas to har darr hai bakwas' ... words that will be repeated by this child protagonist all through the movie can then be expected to become words of a legend in a common household with children, once the movie hits the halls in May this year.

The film also stars Anupam Kher, and Manjari Fadnis of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na fame, and is a Walt Disney Motion Pictures India production.
