'Ziddi Dil - Maane Na' teaser: Gives you the 'Left Right Left' vibes but with a different approach

Sab TV has been constantly focusing on comedy shows and is even branded around the very same genre. Sporting one sitcom after the other, it has also dabbled with fantasy shows like Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga and Hero - Gayab Mode On time and again. But it has been such a long time since it presented a youth-based drama which it used to be known for in the early days.

After this long period of time, the channel is all set to present a new show in the form of Ziddi Dil - Maane Na. Starring an ensemble cast, the show has Shaleen Malhotra, Kunal Karan Kapoor, Kaveri Priyam and others leading the charge.

The promo of the show was just released and it has Malhotra and Priyam's characters in focus. It shows Shaalien Malhotra as Special Agent Karan Shergill, a hard core patriot, a disciplinarian who’s difficult, edgy beliefs have no room for sympathy towards other’s pain, actress Kaveri Priyam as Dr Monami is here to bring about a change in perspective towards caring for others and is here to write her own story.

The show is set against the backdrop of SAF (Special Action Force) Camp, and revolves around an ensemble of characters - a young team of trained and civilian volunteers; who find love and explore budding romance in their lives while trying to fulfil their own aspirations, figuring a way to fit in and survive at the camp.

The promo has Left Right Left feel to it where the iconic show was also about a group of young people and their lives in a military camp, which incidentally also starred Kunal Karan Kapoor. But in no way does Ziddi Dil tries to ape it and in fact, just feels familiar and has a different storyline.
