Zee TV launches its new show Maharakshak Devi!

Maharakshak Devi will have a female protagonist in contrary to the previous trilogy which had male protagonist and was based on super Hero. With the second part, the plot remains the same that is the fight against evil but this time around the protagonist is a female who would be seen fighting the evil that exist in a contemporary society in the form of corrupt politicians and serial rapists to fraudulent scamsters. The show tries to convey the message to every women out there to showcase the strength of Devi she has within herself.

Well the ensemble comprises of young actress Umang Jain, who will essay the role of Devi, popular actor Rohit Bakshi will essay the role of Brihaspati. Indraneil Sengupta will make a come back with a powerful negative character of Shukracharya. Ankit Gera, Sahil Uppal, Varun Kapoor and Kamalika Guha Thakurta will be seen in pivotal roles.
