Zee Marathi's Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's set attacked by mob

Zee Marathi’s popular reality show Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s set was attacked by around 20 men on Tuesday night outside a Famous studio in Mahalaxmi and ruined the anchor Pallavi Joshi’s car badly.

In Famous Studio, the new season of Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s episodes were going to be shot, for contestants above 40 years, namely “Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Swapna Swaranche, Navtarunnyache”. The shoot for the same started from last Monday, 25th February.

Inside the studio, anchor Pallavi Joshi, judges Dr. Saleel Kulkarni, well known classical singer Asha Khadilkar and celebrity judge veteran violinist Prabhakar Jog along with contestants and audiences were there in the show and the shoot was on, when some young guys were reportedly inside the studio continuously chatting and disturbing the shoot. While Celebrity judge of the day, Mr. Prabhakar Jog, veteran violinist, was playing the violin, these boys continued their nuisanceand were ultimately thrown out for their misconduct on set.

However, they soon returned with their friends and attacked Famous Studio, smashed many cars in studio’s campus, assaulted the staff of Famous Studio and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s unit. The accused reportedly also broke furniture in the studio's reception area.

Police have registered a case of rioting and arrested three men.
