Renowned Indian YouTuber Elvish Yadav, known for his comedic sketches and vlogs, has once again found himself at the centre of controversy. Reports have emerged detailing his recent arrest by the Noida police in connection with a case involving snake venom.
Initially, Yadav denied any involvement in the case, but emerging reports paint a different picture. According to various media outlets, including NDTV, Yadav has purportedly confessed to his participation in the illegal activity. Allegations suggest that he agreed to supply snake venom at social gatherings and admitted acquaintance with others implicated in the case.
For the unversed, Yadav's bail hearing took place in a local court in Noida on Wednesday, but it ended without resolution. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, representing Yadav, faced opposition from other lawyers amid a court strike, leading to a postponement.
Recent developments, however, have taken a significant turn, with reports emerging that Elvish Yadav has been granted bail. Official confirmation regarding his legal status is yet to be disclosed. The news of Yadav's entanglement in this legal saga first broke the internet on November 3 of the preceding year, causing a stir among his vast audience. Despite his victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Yadav vehemently refuted any connection to the allegations, vowing full cooperation with investigative authorities.
Additionally, after his arrest, Yadav's parents, Sushma and Rav Avtar Yadav, have been vocal on news channels, alleging a conspiracy to tarnish their son's reputation. They assert that the true perpetrator remains concealed and implore Maneka Gandhi, whose NGO initially alerted the police about the case, to exhibit compassion towards their son and advocate for his release.
