Yet another Star Plus shows gets DELAYED; this time due to IPL

Khichdi has been one of the most popular comedy shows that Indian Television has ever had. While the fans of the show were extremely elated when news about the show turning into a movie came out, the news of a season 3 for Khichdi on Star Plus was even better.

However, looks like the fans will have to wait a little longer as the show will now see a delay in its launch date, which was earlier slated to be some time around March. But now, from the looks of it, the show will not see the light of the day anytime before the second half of this year.

According to the news, with the current changes in the programming strategy of the channel, the makers have decided to postpone the show in order to avoid any kind of clash with IPL and hence the delay.

We quizzed Producer J.D. Majethia about this, who said, "We were contemplating the release of Khichdi season 3 since the very beginning and we weren't sure about the release date, but we were just creating the content. However, now, it is true that the show will release after IPL."
