Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Vidya RETURNS Armaan’s position in firm, once SNATCHED AWAY and handed to Rohit

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently took a five-month leap, introducing significant twists in the storyline. One of the biggest changes came with Ruhi stepping in as the surrogate for Abhira and Armaan's child. While the Poddar and Goenka families initially celebrated the arrival of the baby and the strengthening bond between Ruhi, Rohit, Abhira, and Armaan, tragedy soon struck during the Gangaur festival. The shocking incident claimed the lives of both Rohit and Shivani, leaving their families shattered.

In the current track, the family is still trying to come to terms with the loss, while Kaveri continues to harbour resentment towards Armaan and Abhira. Despite this, the couple has returned to the Poddar house, with Armaan realising that his family needs him now more than ever. Having lost Rohit, Armaan has taken it upon himself to care for both Daksh and Ruhi. He recently saved Ruhi's life after she wandered off a cliff in a moment of emotional turmoil, and now, along with Abhira, he is looking after the pregnant Ruhi and Daksh.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya overhears a tense conversation between Kaveri, Charu, and Manoj regarding the declining state of the Poddar firm and Kaveri's firm stance against Armaan's return. Determined to fix things, Vidya decides to take matters into her own hands. She approaches Abhira, seeking her support in convincing Armaan to rejoin the family business. She expresses that by quitting law, Armaan is punishing himself and insists that he must go back to the firm, which leaves Abhira surprised. Vidya emotionally requests Abhira to help her in convincing Armaan. Abhira, however, apologises to her and gently explains that she knows Armaan is not ready to rejoin the firm, and she won't put any pressure on him. Vidya responds by saying that just as Abhira understands Armaan, she, too, knows her son well. She firmly believes that the law is in his blood and that he will return one day, shocking Abhira.

As exclusively revealed earlier, Armaan will indeed return to the Poddar firm, and Abhira will stand by him on this journey. In a significant moment witnessed by the entire Poddar family, Vidya's decision takes everyone by surprise. While acknowledging that Armaan has his own lawyer's coat, she still insists that he wear Rohit's. Holding Rohit's lawyer's coat in her hands, she expresses her desire for Armaan to step into Rohit's place in the firm by wearing his coat. Additionally, the drama doesn't end there. As hinted in the latest promo, a major twist is set to unfold, reigniting the complex love triangle between Rohit, Armaan, and Abhira. The promo shows Armaan, Ruhi, and Abhira visiting the hospital for Ruhi’s ultrasound. While the trio initially shares a happy moment, things shift when Ruhi begins to cough and Abhira steps out to get water. In her absence, the doctor assumes Armaan and Ruhi are the baby's parents and invites them to hear the first heartbeat.

Ruhi readily agrees and begins sharing the moment with Armaan, just as Abhira returns. Seeing them with the earpiece, experiencing what she had hoped to witness first, leaves her shattered.
