Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Vidya is shocked to find Shivani in Madhav's room

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan, Shivani, and Abhira participate in a puja together, leaving Vidya visibly unsettled. She sarcastically remarks that no one in the house can perform a puja peacefully. However, Armaan intervenes, stating that God does not differentiate between people. He then urges Vidya to take part in the rituals.

Shivani acknowledges the difficulty of raising a child who is not biologically hers and expresses her gratitude to Vidya. Kaveri, however, misinterprets Shivani's intentions and accuses her of trying to take Vidya's place, calling the situation inauspicious. Abhira steps in to clarify that Shivani has no such intentions. Meanwhile, Armaan encourages Vidya and Shivani to resolve their differences, but Kaveri is displeased and shifts the blame onto Shivani.

Kaveri remarks that Armaan is hoping for reconciliation between Shivani and Vidya so that the family can celebrate together. Abhira tries to make Vidya see reason, but Vidya, instead, makes a shocking demand—she tells Armaan to choose between her and Shivani. She declares that whoever he selects will hold the roles of Madhav's wife, Armaan's mother, and the Poddar family's daughter-in-law. This leaves Armaan deeply conflicted, as he refuses to make such a choice.

When Shivani attempts to speak, Abhira stops her. Vidya, however, insists that Armaan must decide. As Armaan struggles to respond, Abhira steps in, urging Vidya to understand his predicament. But Vidya turns the conversation toward Abhira, saying that only she can relate to her pain after losing Daksh.

Abhira is reminded of Daksh and gets lost in thought. Vidya then asks her if she would have willingly given up Daksh after raising him. She pressures Abhira to convince Armaan to make a choice. When Armaan questions why Vidya is dragging Abhira into the matter, she responds that it is because he is taking too long to decide. Giving him a strict ultimatum, she orders him to make a decision within a day. Armaan is left stunned, while Kaveri seizes the opportunity to taunt him.

Elsewhere, Ruhi and Rohit meet Kiara, who reveals that she wanted to visit the Poddar family but was stopped by Abhir. This revelation leaves Ruhi and Rohit shocked. Meanwhile, Shivani accidentally runs into Madhav, and when Vidya tries to intervene, Kaveri stops her.

Later, Shivani apologises to Madhav for entering his room unintentionally. Vidya, still frustrated, questions Kaveri about stopping her earlier. In response, Kaveri confronts Vidya about giving Armaan an ultimatum and seeking Abhira's help. She warns Vidya that Abhira will never take her side. Vidya admits that despite her attempts to create distance between Armaan and Abhira, she has been unsuccessful.

Shivani, witnessing the tension, pleads with Vidya and Kaveri to stop trying to separate Armaan and Abhira. She expresses her desire to stay with Armaan. However, Kaveri seizes the moment to manipulate Shivani, painting a grim picture of the future if she chooses to stay in the Poddar house. She instills fear in Shivani by making her visualise a growing rift within the family—first, Abhira and Ruhi clashing over their mothers, followed by an inevitable conflict between Armaan and Rohit. She warns that these escalating tensions will lead to endless disputes in the household, with Madhav getting caught in the middle.

As Kaveri continues to plant doubts in Shivani's mind, she describes a scenario where Vidya, along with Madhav, struggles to pacify the feuding brothers. In this imagined turmoil, Vidya suddenly loses her balance and falls. Armaan and Abhira rush to help her, but Kaveri blocks their way. The situation spirals further as Shivani envisions a moment when Kaveri forces Abhira and Armaan out of the house.

Kaveri strikes a final blow by convincing Shivani that although she wants the best for her child, her presence in the Poddar home will only bring unhappiness. She emphasises that as long as Shivani stays, her child's joy will remain out of reach. Even Vidya, seemingly overwhelmed, pleads with Shivani to leave for the sake of peace.

Just as Shivani is on the verge of giving in to Kaveri's manipulation, she suddenly freezes as her eyes land on Abhira, standing there, witnessing everything. Abhira overhears this conversation and is shocked to realise that Kaveri is trying to poison Shivani's mind.
