Star Plus and Rajan Shahi's Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which recently achieved the feat of completing 500 episodes, has turned two years old today, i.e. on 12th January. The entire cast and crew are jubilant for making it this far, and are savouring the happy moment.

Rajan Shahi's flag ship show Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai on Star Plus attained the distinction of completing three long years, before bidding adieu last year. Ye Rishta has been equally popular and has been very consistent on the rating chart. And the completion of two years adds yet another feather in its cap.

We hear that the cast and crew have been busy shooting and there has been no time for celebration today. However, the cast expects to have a small cake cutting ceremony on the sets today evening..

We contacted the lead Karan Mehra aka Naitik and he asserts, "I am very much thankful to the audience for all the success, because without them we could not have reached this far".

Talking about celebrations for the day Karan said, "Actually more than half of the cast is on leave today,  due to an off day. But I am sure that we will have some celebration later on".

Telly Buzz wishes Ye Rishta team on their success.
