Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi tries to turn Armaan against Abhira, but Armaan defends her

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kaveri acknowledges Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) capabilities but notes his shifting priorities. She announces Sanjay as the new legal head, a role he accepts. Armaan agrees with Kaveri's decision, prompting applause for Sanjay. However, Vidya disapproves, alleging Kaveri is punishing Armaan for backing Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), an accusation echoed by Abhira herself. Kaveri then assigns Manisha to prepare food for orphanage kids, prompting Abhira to plan a confrontation. Ruhi intervenes, leading to a disagreement between her and Abhira. Ruhi explains she wants to assist Armaan differently, leading to further tensions.

Abhira confronts Ruhi over her intervention, leading to an argument. Ruhi inadvertently bumps into Armaan and accuses Abhira of his current situation. Armaan, however, appreciates Abhira and Akshara's support. On the other hand, Charu expresses disdain for Dev until he reveals his custody battle for his child, leading to Charu confessing her love and commitment to Dev.

Manish misses Akshara, while Abhira discovers Akshara's interest in music and arranges a musical birthday for her. Abhira receives a call from Manish, hearing Akshara's voice, but Swarna and Surekha prevent Manish from recollecting Akshara, prioritising Ruhi's feelings. Despite this, Manish persists, prompting Surekha to intervene for Ruhi's sake.

Ruhi tries to turn Armaan against Abhira:

Abhira insists Krish can walk, sparking disagreement with Ruhi. Armaan intervenes, asking them to leave Krish's room. Ruhi claims Armaan assigned Krish's care to her, angering Abhira. Armaan uplifts Krish's spirits while Abhira plans to discuss matters with him.

Later in the kitchen, Ruhi arrives and asks Armaan to make Abhira understand; otherwise, she will do drama. Armaan defends Abhira, revealing she doesn't do any drama. She has just asked him to meet Krish. Ruhi believes Armaan fails to see Abhira's negative impact. Manisha advises Ruhi to give Armaan and Abhira space. Abhira requests Armaan's support regarding Krish, demonstrating Krish's ability to walk. Armaan becomes upset, but Abhira urges him to listen to Krish. Krish apologises to Armaan and reveals Sanjay's role in his condition. Abhira encourages Krish, and both Armaan and Abhira stand by him.
