Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi discovers Abhir's unexpected feelings for Charu

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan becomes aware of Abhira's presence through the scent of her perfume, which triggers memories of their past. Disturbed by the lingering fragrance, he opens his car window in an attempt to rid his car of it and reaffirms his resolve to distance himself from her. He feels conflicted, realising that despite his efforts to maintain distance from her, he remains affected. Armaan later discovers Abhira's perfume bottle in the car, which further intensifies his inner turmoil. He reflects on her unexpected decision to help him and regrets having pushed her away in the past.

On the other hand, Ruhi approaches Charu to apologise for pressuring her into taking Abhira's case. Charu comforts Ruhi, urging her not to feel guilty. However, Ruhi senses Charu's unease and questions her about it. Charu eventually confides that Abhir has proposed to her, leaving Ruhi in shock. Ruhi expresses her intention to confront Abhir, but Charu requests her to refrain from doing so. This prompts Ruhi to ask if Charu has feelings for Abhir, leading her to reflect on her earlier perception that Charu and Abhir disliked each other.

Charu admits that although she initially had issues with Abhir, she has come to understand him better over time. She acknowledges that Abhir has endured numerous personal battles, which have shaped him into a resilient individual. However, Charu clarifies that, despite her growing respect for him, she cannot envision a future with him. She explains that she has been betrayed twice in love and marriage, and she no longer wants to give anyone such importance in her life.

Ruhi tries to reassure Charu, insisting that Abhir is different from those who hurt her in the past. While Charu agrees, she points out that Abhir's temper reminds her of her father, and she cannot imagine spending her life managing the anger of those around her. She also considers the potential complexities arising from the dynamics between their families.

Ruhi then pleads with Charu to reject Abhir's proposal gently if that is her decision, emphasising that Abhir is already in a vulnerable state of mind and should be handled with care.

At the same time, Roop asks Abhira to secure new cases for him. She questions Roop's integrity, suspecting he might be a fraud. Roop dismisses her doubts and justifies calling her to the temple, explaining it's a place where they can easily find potential cases. He assigns her the task of dealing with a distressed individual involved in a property dispute. However, Abhira struggles to handle the situation, and Roop mocks her lack of expertise, suggesting she learn from him.

Elsewhere, Manisha offers prasad to Vidya, saying it's from Abhira. Vidya refuses to accept it and declares that she won't discuss Abhira. She insists Abhira isn't suitable for her or Armaan. Manisha advises Vidya not to make decisions on Armaan's behalf. Their conversation is interrupted by Sanjay, who criticises Abhira and says she deserves rejection. This angers Manisha, who defends Abhira.

Back at work, Roop successfully convinces a client, but Abhira refuses to fake emotions to win cases. Roop tries to persuade her to adopt his tactics. Meanwhile, Armaan becomes increasingly disturbed at the Poddar firm due to Abhira's lingering perfume scent. Frustrated, he cancels a meeting. Rohit and Ruhi encourage him to take a break and have lunch, but he declines. Ruhi notices the perfume scent and questions Armaan about it. Armaan brushes it off, saying anyone could use the same perfume. Ruhi, however, reprimands him for his behaviour towards junior employees.

Later, Charu resolves to turn down Abhir's proposal but observes him struggling to walk. Moved by his vulnerability, she motivates him. Abhir expresses his affection for Charu, but she remains firm in her decision to reject his proposal.

Meanwhile, Abhira asks Roop if he has managed to find any cases. Roop invites her to join him in court but insists she ride with him on his bike, which he affectionately calls "Suman." Abhira refuses to ride on his bike. Elsewhere, Armaan vents his frustration by angrily discarding Abhira's perfume bottle.
