Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Roop struggles in Abhira’s absence, lost in thoughts of her

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlta Hai episode, Abhira overhears Kaveri instructing a man to keep something hidden from Armaan. This leaves her puzzled, and she starts wondering about Kaveri's secret. Meanwhile, Kaveri informs Armaan that she will return soon. Abhira remains restless, trying to figure out what Kaveri is concealing from him.

Meanwhile after reaching the Poddar house, Manish advises Abhir that he will soon be responsible for Charu and encourages him to make decisions with a calm mind. Abhir acknowledges Manish's words and understands the weight of his responsibility. Manish further tells Abhir that his bond with Charu is under strain and urges him to take things slowly. Abhir, however, remarks that his current situation doesn't allow him to rush. Meanwhile, Abhira finds herself lost in thoughts about her past.

The Poddar family warmly welcomes Abhir and the Goenkas. Manish teases him about taking too long to get ready. Kajal extends a warm greeting to him, while Vidya avoids coming face-to-face with Abhir. Armaan then invites Abhira inside, but as she steps forward, she loses balance and falls, prompting Armaan to support her. Observing this, Vidya recalls Sanjay's warning that Abhira might create a rift between Armaan and his family. This thought unsettles her.

Elsewhere, Swarna requests Kajal to call Charu. However, before Kajal can do so, Ruhi takes the initiative to bring Charu herself. As soon as Charu arrives, Abhir is captivated by her presence. He confronts her about avoiding him, prompting Charu to acknowledge her mistake. She then confesses her love for him. Meanwhile, Kaveri receives a phone call, and Abhira, sensing something unusual, decides to check on her. Catching Abhira nearby, Kaveri questions if she was eavesdropping. Abhira denies it, claiming she was just wandering around. However, Kaveri refuses to believe her and accuses her of always creating unnecessary drama. Abhira, unwilling to stay silent, tells Kaveri that she has no right to taunt her.

Meanwhile, Manish inquires about Sanjay's whereabouts. When Armaan approaches Sanjay to seek his blessings for Abhir and Charu, Sanjay coldly ignores him. Abhir then intervenes and requests Sanjay to stay. However, Sanjay challenges Abhir's love for Charu by forcing him to repeatedly lower his head and admit he is not worthy of her until given permission to stop. Just as Abhira attempts to step in, Manish stops her, urging her to let Abhir handle the matter himself. Seeing the situation unfold, Armaan prepares to support Abhir, but Kaveri intervenes, stopping him.

Ultimately, Abhir complies with Sanjay's demand, leading Sanjay to finally accept his and Charu's alliance. Elsewhere, Roop finds himself missing Abhira and wonders how he will manage without her.

During the engagement rituals, the priest calls upon the parents of the bride and groom to step forward. Abhira informs him that their parents are no longer alive. At this moment, Abhir expresses that Abhira has played the role of his parents every single day. Ruhi, witnessing this, starts questioning if Abhira is the only significant person in Abhir's life. The priest then requests Charu's aunt to perform an important ritual, leaving Vidya in shock.
