Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Roop discovers Armaan is Shivani's son and seeks to uncover their past

In Star Plus' longest-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, while the Goenkas and Poddars are entangled in the turmoil surrounding Armaan and Abhira's divorce, the unfolding love triangle between Abhir, Charu, and Kiara have complicated matters for both families. Meanwhile, the recent addition of Roop's character in Abhira's life, with a mutual connection to Shivani, who is Armaan's real biological mother, sets the stage for a potential reunion between Armaan, Madhav, and Shivani.

We recently highlighted the drama and twists surrounding Charu and Abhir's engagement, from Armaan and Abhira participating in the rituals to Vidya deliberately causing tension by hurting Abhira with hairpins during the ceremony. The most heartwarming moment in the engagement sequence is when Sanjay, after a period of tension, happily reconciles and blesses Charu and Abhir.

However, Roop unexpectedly arrives, surprising Abhira, as he had previously agreed not to attend the wedding with Shivani. When Abhira questions his presence, he explains that he's there to get her signature on some papers. After she signs, Roop asks her to let him stay for the meal, mentioning that he's craving tasty food and doesn't want to trouble his mother since she didn't send him any tiffin. Abhira quickly realizes that the signature was just an excuse, and his real intention was to enter the Poddar house. Fearing complications from his visit, she asks him to leave. However, Armaan catches her interacting with him, adding tension to the situation.

The real reason behind Roop's visit to the Poddar house is to learn more about Armaan through Abhira. In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Roop discovers that Shivani’s son, Aaru (Shivani’s child whom she has been searching for), is none other than Armaan. As soon as Roop uncovers this, he visits the Poddar house under the pretext of needing a signature, but then asks to stay for a meal.

Meanwhile, Abhira gets the idea that Roop knows something about Armaan's past. He urges her to share everything she knows about Armaan and his history, assuring her that he will uncover the rest.
