Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Roop departs for Delhi, leaving Armaan a promise

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Roop questions how Abhira can stand by Armaan's decision. He expresses his belief that Armaan will take good care of both Shivani and Abhira. Roop then announces that he needs to leave for Delhi to handle a legal case. Shivani, feeling emotional, asks Roop if he plans to depart without meeting her one last time. She wonders if he believes that after seeing Armaan, she will forget him. As a mother, she insists that her heart has room for both her sons. She also expresses her admiration for Roop.

Roop jokingly calls himself Shivani's favourite son, and she affectionately showers him with love. Armaan, considering Roop as his brother, shares a warm embrace with him. Before departing for Delhi for a month, Roop entrusts Armaan with the responsibility of looking after Abhira and Shivani, making him promise to care for them. Armaan wholeheartedly agrees, assuring Roop that he will fulfill his commitment.

Determined to bring Shivani home, Armaan decides to take her to the Poddar house. Shivani hesitates, saying Kaveri will never accept her. However, Abhira reassures her that as long as she and Armaan stand by Shivani, no one can deny her rightful place. To mark the moment, Abhira writes Shivani's name on Armaan's favourite bench. Seeing this, Armaan firmly resolves that Kaveri must accept Shivani, as it means a lot to him.

Meanwhile, Kaveri grows increasingly anxious about Armaan's whereabouts. Madhav questions her restlessness, but Kaveri insists that the entire family is worried. Amidst the tension, Manisha blames Charu for the situation surrounding Kiara and Abhir's marriage. Charu, in turn, contacts Kajal. Kajal urges Charu to return home, while Sanjay worries about Charu's sudden absence. Manisha accuses Charu of running away, which she believes has led to Kiara's current troubles. However, Sanjay argues that Kiara is content with her marriage to Abhir. Despite this, Manisha insists that Charu must answer for her disappearance. This disagreement leads to a heated argument between Manisha and Sanjay.

Vidya then claims that dark forces are looming over their family, causing unease within the Poddar household. Everyone is left in shock when Armaan arrives with Abhira and Shivani. Kaveri panics, fearing that Shivani will expose her secrets to both Madhav and Armaan.

In Kaveri's nightmare, Shivani reveals the truth—that Kaveri deliberately kept her separated from Madhav and Armaan. Startled, Kaveri wakes up and returns to reality. Meanwhile, Madhav is left speechless upon seeing Shivani alive. He immediately turns to Armaan and Abhira for answers. Abhira explains that Shivani had been living with Roop after staying in an ashram. She further reveals that Shivani was also hospitalised at one point. Armaan then questions Madhav about his last encounter with Shivani.

Madhav recalls that after a major accident, everyone convinced him that Shivani had passed away. Vidya is left in disbelief, while Kaveri stands frozen in shock. As Madhav and Armaan rush to support Vidya, Shivani is taken aback to see Armaan siding with Vidya.
