Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira runs away from Armaan, fate brings her closer to Abhira

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri and Vidya relish the dishes brought by Manisha and Kajal. Soon after, Manisha and Kajal sit with them and enjoy the meal together.

Meanwhile, while strolling around, Tanya spots a beautiful saree and excitedly says that she had been looking for a similar designer saree for their wedding. She asks if they can go take a closer look. Seeing her interest, Krish tells Tanya that she can take it if she likes.

Meanwhile, Manisha comments to Kaveri and Vidya that Krish has chosen a girl with no brains. However, things take a bitter turn when Krish and Tanya arrive at Abhira's stall. Krish is taken aback when he spots Manisha and Kajal, along with Kaveri and Vidya. He furiously questions their presence and sarcastically asks if they've also joined what he calls this "foolish venture." Tanya steps in, trying to de-escalate the situation, reminding Krish that the media is present and they need to keep calm. She chooses to take the saree and leave quietly.

Krish attempts to pay for the saree, but Kaveri declines his offer, pointing out that they hadn't brought a gift during the engagement, and this can be considered one. Unwilling to accept charity, Krish insists she take the money. He remarks that he only accepts gifts from those who match his social status and adds that he prefers to do charity instead, handing over the money regardless.

Anshuman steps in to defend Kaveri and urges Krish to apologise for his behaviour. Krish, however, refuses, saying he doesn't have time to waste. Agitated, he storms off, with Tanya following closely behind. Anshuman, clearly upset by Krish's arrogant attitude, also walks away in frustration.

Meanwhile, Maira feels disappointed after not making it to the final round of the competition. Armaan gently consoles her, reminding her that what truly matters is participation and that she can always try her luck in other dance contests.

At the same time, Abhira approaches the food counter where Anshuman is standing. He initially picks up a bowl of salad but soon notices a plate of roti and aloo ki sabzi. As he looks up, he sees Abhira smiling at him. She expresses her gratitude for supporting Kaveri and appreciates his gesture. Anshuman, however, apologises for getting involved in what he considers a family issue. Abhira reassures him, telling him that he's no longer an outsider and that he's slowly becoming part of the family. This warm exchange marks the beginning of a new friendship between them, a moment that delights Kaveri as she observes their growing bond.

On the other hand, the host announces a surprising twist—Maira has in fact qualified for the finale. Ecstatic, Maira expresses her desire to celebrate with an ice golla. Armaan agrees and heads off to buy it, asking both Geetanjali and Maira to wait outside.

Just as Armaan collects the golla and prepares to return, Abhira coincidentally arrives at the same stall to get one, too. Before he can leave, Armaan hears a man's voice asking for help as their balloons escape into the air. As he turns, he notices someone already helping the man, and at that moment, he sees Abhira.

Startled, he freezes and drops the ice golla. His eyes stay fixed on her as she walks away, unaware of his presence. Armaan quietly follows her, lost in memories of their shared past. Emotions flood him as he realises that all this time, he had been emotionally numb. Watching her brings his feelings rushing back, and he wishes he could hear her talk endlessly like before. In his heart, he silently confesses how much he missed her.

He continues to walk behind her, simply watching, lost in admiration. In a tender moment, he gently pinches her arms, making her stop and sense his presence. Just as she turns to see who it is, Armaan disappears into the crowd. He pulls back, realising he's not ready yet to face Abhira or to reveal the truth about Maira.

He returns to Maira and hugs her, reminding himself he cannot risk losing Maira. Noticing his distress, Geetanjali questions him. Armaan tells her he's planning to return to Mount Abu, which Maira strongly objects to. Geetanjali advises Armaan to consider Maira's feelings, but he lashes out at her for bringing Maira along without informing him. Upset, Maira pulls her hand away from Armaan and walks away.

Soon after, Armaan grows anxious when he realises Maira is missing. Geetanjali scolds him for not stopping her when he had the chance. Maira boards an auto-rickshaw, but something feels off as the driver takes a different route. Alarmed, she jumps out and runs for her safety. Coincidentally, Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira are passing through the same area. Abhira notices some boxes and is reminded of a previous incident. She begins searching for Pookie and feels someone may be hiding nearby. The trio inspects the boxes and is stunned to discover Maira hiding inside, visibly shaken. Abhira extends her hand towards Maira, who, though anxious and scared, slowly gets up.

In the precap, Armaan and Geetanjali begin searching for Maira. Geetanjali questions Armaan on how he plans to find her and if he knows anyone in Udaipur. Meanwhile, Maira reveals to Abhira that Geetanjali is her mother. Abhira is left in utter shock.
