Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri LASHES OUT at Vidya for breaking the sole rule of not mentioning Armaan

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira is seen quietly preparing a cake, carefully concealing it while reminding herself that everything must go perfectly and there's no room for error.

The following morning, Vidya searches for the pressure cooker's whistle, during which Abhira discreetly hides the cake. Vidya then notices Abhira applying under-eye cream and questions her about it. Abhira replies that she purchased it at a discounted rate. Vidya, however, taunts her by saying the cream won't be effective since she's still enveloped in emotional darkness.

Elsewhere, tensions rise as Kaveri lashes out at Vidya for touching her water bucket. The disagreement escalates into a full-blown argument between the two women over something as basic as water. Witnessing the rift, Abhira intervenes and decides to help Kaveri by accompanying her to fetch water.

Meanwhile, back at home, Vidya offers heartfelt prayers for Armaan's well-being. She decides to keep a fast in his name and tearfully questions God about his absence, expressing her pain and longing. She confesses that even if Armaan doesn't return, she wishes him happiness wherever he might be.

Later, when Kaveri and Abhira return with the water, they find the door locked. Inside, Vidya hurriedly tries to hide Armaan's photograph. Eventually, both Kaveri and Abhira learn about Vidya's fast for Armaan, leaving Abhira stunned at the sight of his picture. Kaveri says that while the Poddars once followed many rules, in this house, there’s only one, never to take Armaan's name. Yet, Vidya was performing a pooja for him. Vidya, however, insists she cannot forget her son.

Kaveri sternly reminds Vidya that Armaan has been gone for seven years without a word and chose to leave both his family and wife behind. She points out that despite everything, Abhira is at least making efforts to move forward, unlike Vidya, who clings to the past.

Vidya fires back, claiming Abhira, too, is emotionally stuck. She reveals that Abhira baked a cake and even bought a gift named Pookie. She accuses Abhira of pretending to move on while secretly holding on to her memories. According to Vidya, Abhira's sleepless nights and reliance on under-eye cream are proof that she hasn't truly healed.

Kaveri then states that both women are holding onto their pasts in different ways. Vidya retaliates by pointing out that Kaveri herself misses her family but refuses to acknowledge it. Later, Abhira is seen reminiscing about Pookie, wondering when destiny will bring them back together.

Elsewhere, in Mount Abu, Pookie and her grandfather are at the park, selling umbrellas together.
