Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Geetanjali asks Armaan to not tell Abhira about Myra, Abhira preps for engagement

In the episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight, Abhira wonders why Armaan hasn’t come back yet. She tries to convince herself not to think about him anymore and reminds herself that he is not a child who needs looking after. To distract herself, she decides to make noodles. At the same time, Armaan is struggling with his emotions. He believes he is not good enough for Abhira and that she would be happier with Anshuman. He tells himself that she has already been through enough pain because of him and deserves someone better. In his mind, he pictures a new beginning for her, and he chooses to step away.

Abhira tries to stop him, but Arman heads to a quiet place that holds personal meaning for him. There, he unexpectedly meets Kiara. He tells her he missed her all these years. Kiara asks why he never called her in the past seven years. Arman then asks about her life, and she shares that things changed after he left. Their music group fell apart, and she mentions that Abhira often came there and cried, still holding on to memories of him. Kiara says that Abhira made a wise choice in moving forward with Anshuman, as she truly deserves joy. Arman is stunned by what he hears.

Later, Arman writes a letter to Abhira, expressing regret for hiding the truth about Myra. Myra, along with Geetanjali and Dadu, comes to visit Arman. He is overjoyed to see Myra. But Geetanjali is concerned that Abhira might take Myra away if she learns the truth. Arman promises he has kept everything secret. Geetanjali thanks him for his silence, saying it has helped her. Dadu then invites Arman to a family wedding, and Myra eagerly wants to go. Arman agrees to let her attend with them.

Meanwhile, Kaveri is thrilled about Abhira’s upcoming engagement. She asks Vidya to help with her blouse, but Vidya shows no interest. Tanya brings a beautiful engagement outfit for Abhira and urges her to try it on. Tanya notices Abhira seems distant and wonders why she isn’t more excited. She talks about how caring and devoted Anshuman is. Kaveri insists that Abhira is just shy and is looking forward to the engagement. Just then, Anshuman calls Kaveri, asking her to meet him right away.

In another scene, Arman loses his job. Myra tells him she needs a new school uniform, books, and a bag for the new school year. Geetanjali asks him to pay for the cab and promises to return the money later. Arman begins to realize his money is running out and becomes anxious about supporting Myra.

Manoj secretly invites Arman to the office. There, he mentions that Abhira and Anshuman’s engagement is being planned. He hints that Arman still has feelings for Abhira. Arman refuses to talk about it and changes the subject.

Elsewhere, Abhira reflects on her decision. Deep down, she knows she is only agreeing to marry Anshuman because she is hurt by Armaan. She decides to speak to Anshuman. But when she sees him happily choosing clothes for their engagement with Kaveri, she is taken aback. His joy surprises her and makes her question everything again.
