Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan urges Vidya to stay happy now that he has lost Abhira forever

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Charu supports Abhira's wish to meet Armaan, clarifying that there is nothing unethical about it. However, Vidya challenges Charu's authority, questioning her right to lecture her on rules. She then informs Abhira that Armaan is not at home but at the office. Meanwhile, Abhira reveals that Armaan is missing from the office as well. Kajal encourages Abhira to check inside the house, while Rohit urges Vidya not to dampen the mood, reminding her that today is a day of celebration.

Elsewhere, Swarna informs Kaveri that she has sent Roop's address. Manish, puzzled by Kaveri's insistence on visiting Roop instead of simply calling him, asks about her reasoning. Kaveri insists on inviting Roop in person. Swarna playfully asks Manish if he enjoys teasing Kaveri, but Manish grows suspicious, sensing that Kaveri must have an underlying reason for this sudden urgency despite her other pressing responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Abhira sneaks into Madhav's room in search of information about Shivani. She is startled to find that there is no photograph of Shivani in his possession. While searching further, she discovers the key to Shivani's house and decides to investigate. At the same time, Armaan, lost in thoughts about Roop, accidentally collides with Abhira. He questions her presence in Madhav's room and, though he acknowledges he has no right over her anymore, he still demands an explanation. However, he ultimately tells her she is free to do as she pleases.

Kaveri arrives at Roop's residence and is immediately questioned about her unexpected visit. She subtly tries to extract information about Shivani while extending an invitation to Charu's wedding. Meanwhile, Shivani overhears the conversation and becomes curious about Roop's visitor. She decides to take a look, and when Kaveri spots a picture of Roop with Shivani, she is left stunned. Roop, sensing the tension, firmly asks Kaveri to leave.

At Shivani's house, Abhira searches for any traces of Madhav and Shivani's past. At the same time, Shivani questions Roop about the visitor, and he informs her that it was Charu's family inviting him to the wedding. Growing anxious, Shivani insists that Roop leave immediately, worried about the consequences of Kaveri's discovery. Roop tries to reassure her, but Shivani remains troubled by the situation.

Abhira eventually stumbles upon an old photograph of Madhav and Shivani together. However, Shivani's face is unclear in the image, leaving Abhira with lingering doubts.

Back at home, Vidya approaches Armaan, sensing his distress. She asks if he is upset with her because of Abhira. Armaan, however, reveals that his frustration stems from having sacrificed his married life in an attempt to be the ideal son. He then defends Abhira, countering Vidya's criticism. Acknowledging that Abhira had genuinely tried to mend their relationship while he had remained obstinate, Armaan regrets his actions.

Armaan takes a stand for Abhira, questioning why she is being blamed once again when she has finally moved on, fulfilling Vidya's wishes. He expresses a deep desire to apologise to Abhira, but laments that it's too late now, as he has lost her forever. Armaan admits he doesn't know how he will cope seeing her with someone else. He explains that since he had distanced himself from her willingly, he has no right to criticise her now as she moves on. He urges Vidya to stop harboring hatred for Abhira, acknowledging that the truth is she can't find a better daughter-in-law than her. He reminds Vidya that she always wanted Abhira out of his life, and now that she is gone, he urges her to find happiness and let go of the past.

As Valentine's Day unfolds, both Abhira and Armaan find themselves thinking about each other. Fate intervenes, and they unexpectedly cross paths at a shop.
