Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan promises Abhira an unforgettable trip on their anniversary

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, a broker approaches Armaan, demanding payment. When Armaan questions the reason, the broker clarifies that it is for house rent. Armaan, pointing out the deteriorated state of the house, refuses to pay. However, Abhira steps in and hands the money to the broker. Surprised, Armaan asks Abhira why she did so. She explains that no matter where they live, struggles will follow. She urges him to adjust, at least for Shivani's sake, as she is unwell. This makes Armaan reflect on his privileged life—he has never truly experienced financial hardship or considered the consequences of running out of money. He realises that Abhira is the one keeping him grounded.

Meanwhile, Madhav inquires if Rohit has any updates on Armaan's whereabouts. Rohit reveals that Armaan is still missing. Kaveri questions Madhav's concern, arguing that Armaan left the house on his own. Madhav, however, holds Kaveri and Vidya responsible, stating that their rigid ways suffocated Armaan, forcing him to sever ties with the family. He further points out that their household has been falling apart, with several family members—starting from Kiara to Charu—leaving one by one. Just then, Charu returns home.

Kaveri confronts Charu about running away from her wedding. Charu confesses that she doesn't understand the concept of love or marriage. Manisha, furious, slaps her and holds her responsible for ruining Kiara's life while showing no remorse. Sanjay steps in to defend Charu, but Manoj intervenes and asks Manisha to stop.

Elsewhere, Abhira notices Armaan engaged in work. Wanting to take care of him, she decides to serve him food. She recalls that Armaan doesn't like tea but realises that coffee is too expensive now. Meanwhile, a flashback reveals Sanjay pressuring her not to marry Abhir by threatening to divorce Kajal. Back to reality, Sanjay tries to initiate a conversation with Kiara, but she lashes out, expressing her hatred for him. Krish happens to overhear their conversation, leaving him puzzled.

Later, Abhira and Armaan bring Shivani home. Shivani, feeling unwell, decides to sleep in a separate room. However, Abhira insists that she should take the bedroom for better comfort. Shivani then requests Armaan to sit beside her, but he avoids the conversation. Later, Abhira and Armaan discuss their future together. Armaan, wanting to make their anniversary special, plans a surprise for Abhira. He promises to take her on the best trip of her life on this anniversary. However, when Abhira encourages him to look for a job, he shocks her by revealing that he wants to quit being a lawyer. Abhira is left stunned.
