Anupamaa: Manish Naggdev to play new Toshu

Star Plus's Anupamaa continues to captivate viewers with its thrilling twists, and recent news about an upcoming 15-year leap has only added to the anticipation. Following reports, Tanvi Hegde, famed as Fruity from Son Pari, has been considered for a leading post-leap role.

And now we exclusively hear that Manish Naggdev will step into the role of Toshu. Manish, who gained popularity with Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, was also part of popular shows like Begusarai, Madhubala, Udaan, Pavitra Rishta, Geet, and more.

The show is set to deliver a high-stakes storyline leading up to the leap. Anuj departs for Mumbai on a business trip while wedding preparations with Anupamaa continue at Asha Bhawan. In an emotional phone call, Anupamaa assures Anuj that everything, from the mandap to the havan, is ready for his arrival. Inside the house, as the children play near the havan, a wooden stick accidentally ignites a cloth, sparking a dangerous fire. Amid the chaos, Anupamaa realizes that Adhya is trapped, but despite her frantic attempts, the flames grow, putting Adhya's life at risk.

Alongside the casting changes, sources suggest that several main actors, including Gaurav Khanna and Rupali Ganguly, may exit the show, marking a significant shift in Anupamaa's storyline as it heads into the leap.
