Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara slips during the Janmasthami celebrations, Abhimanyu left worried

Akshara remains upset: 

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight will begin with a lively dance to the tune of "Nagada Sang Dhol." Suddenly, glass pieces shatter on the floor, startling everyone. Abhi quickly apologizes, explaining that his previous remarks were not meant to dredge up the past but were merely the result of tension. Despite his apology, Akshu walks away in anger. Muskaan questions how long Kairav plans to remain upset, and Kairav responds that it will continue until she dispels her doubts, emphasizing the need to work on their marriage. A heated argument ensues between the two of them. Abhi is then seen playing the dhol. Akshu notices the broken glass and calls out to Abhimanyu, who turns to see the shattered glass as well.

Parth demands division: 

The scene transitions to morning, with Aarohi urging everyone to hurry up, while Shefali mentions that the kids are not ready yet. Mahima inquires about the whereabouts of everyone, and Parth, visibly upset, refuses to partake in any pretense of happiness, stating that no one seems to care about his happiness. He engages in an argument with Anand and Mahima, expressing his dissatisfaction with the situation. Mahima offers him anything except the MD position, but Parth demands division, asserting his rights. A confrontation between Mahima and Parth escalates, but Abhi arrives with Manjiri, intervening to stop Mahima from raising her hand. He questions whether Mahima truly desires this division, and Parth affirms his decision, tired of constantly having to prove himself. Manjiri chastises Parth, highlighting that the family has forgiven him numerous times, and they remain united. She questions his audacity to claim he wants to leave them. Meanwhile, Akshu calls Aarohi, updating her on Parth's demand for division, and expresses doubt about being able to attend the family gathering.

Abhimanyu's offer to Parth: 

Abhi attempts to reason with Parth, offering him the MD position in the future and assuring him that he is happy for his success. Shefali intervenes, defending Abhi's hard work and condemning Parth's jealousy. Abhi urges them not to fight, and Aarohi mentions that Shivu is at home. Abhi suggests that Parth take six months to convince everyone, and if he still feels injustice is being done, Abhi is willing to resign from his MD position. Manjiri disagrees with this idea, but Abhi insists that they can't force Parth. Anand and Mahima ultimately agree, and Parth begrudgingly accepts the offer. Akshu informs Aarohi that they may not be able to make it to the Janmashtami function.

Its Girls Vs the Boys:

The episode then shifts to the Janmashtami celebration, with preparations underway. Kairav receives a message, and Muskaan observes him closely. Ruhi questions why girls aren't allowed to break the Matka (clay pot). Surekha supports Ruhi's query, suggesting that girls should participate too. Akshu proposes that the girls should also have a chance to break the Matka, and Dadi agrees. Manish arranges for another Matka to be tied for the girls, but Akshu insists on it being placed at a higher height. Abhi playfully engages in a discussion, which leads to some friendly banter. They eventually decide to have a competition between boys and girls, with Dadi suggesting that the winning team will earn respect.

A match for respect: 

Meanwhile, Shivu asks Mahima why their father hasn't arrived yet. Dadi reassures Mahima, reminding her of Parth's strong bond with the family and his responsibilities at the hospital. Ruhi teases Akshu, calling her "lightweight," which elicits laughter. Abhi intervenes and apologizes on behalf of the group if their banter offended anyone, urging them to participate but keep the Matka at a lower height. Akshu firmly disagrees, and Abhi accepts her challenge. Kairav remarks that the adults are merely putting on a show. Dadi playfully hits Abhi and announces a match between boys and girls, garnering applause from the crowd. Abhi asks what the winning team will receive, and Akshu humorously suggests "respect." The competition is set, and Abhi prays for their success.
