Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira mysteriously goes missing from the baraat

Star Plus’ longest-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is currently centered around Charu and Abhir’s wedding. The two families forming this alliance have never shared a cordial relationship due to various reasons, with the biggest one being the ongoing tension between Abhira and Armaan. Although both families initially opposed Charu and Abhir’s marriage, they eventually agreed, largely due to the efforts of Abhira and Armaan, who came together to support their siblings. The two set aside their differences to unite their siblings, but their own relationship still shows no signs of reconciliation.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Charu and Abhir’s much-awaited wedding day finally arrives. However, instead of bringing joy to both families, the day seems to be unfolding with unexpected twists and turns. As the Goenkas arrive with the baraat at the Poddar house, both families immerse themselves in the celebrations, dancing with enthusiasm. Amidst the festivities, Abhira anxiously waits for an envelope containing Shivani’s photograph—the same unclear picture she had sent for photocopying. While dancing in the baraat, she finally receives the envelope.

Curious to uncover the truth, she takes Roop aside, and together they prepare to open the envelope on the count of three. However, what they find inside leaves them in shock. Instead of Shivani’s picture, the photograph reveals an old image of Abhira with the Poddars from the past. Stunned by the revelation, she realizes that this could be the only clue leading her to the truth about Armaan’s mother. Her mind races as she realises that Armaan is the only person who could have had access to a similar envelope. Suspecting that their envelopes might have been exchanged, she panics and immediately leaves the baraat, determined to find it before anyone else lays eyes on it.

While the baraat continues in full swing, Armaan senses Abhira’s absence and begins to worry. He searches for her among the crowd, asking everyone, including Ruhi and Roop. When Roop questions how he would know Abhira’s whereabouts, Armaan responds that if not Roop, then who else would? Roop quickly clarifies that he is nothing more than her business partner.

Meanwhile, Abhira rushes to Armaan’s room, hoping to retrieve the photograph. However, upon arriving, she finds Kaveri already there. Before Abhira’s arrival, Kaveri had already burned the photograph. Seeing this, Abhira desperately tries to intervene, but by then, the portion of the picture containing Shivani has already been destroyed. A heated confrontation ensues between the two, with Abhira trying to force Kaveri into confessing the truth. However, Kaveri refuses and walks away, leaving Abhira heartbroken.

As she stares at the damaged photograph, her last hope of uncovering the truth, Armaan arrives after searching for her. They share an emotional moment, during which several confessions take place. Armaan finally gains clarity about Abhira and Roop’s alliance, realizing the true nature of their relationship. In a heartfelt moment, he acknowledges his past mistakes and admits his guilt.
