Yay! This 90s show is all set to be REVIVED on Television..!

It is always nostalgic and endearing to go down the memory lane and think of all the amazing TV shows back in the late 80s and early 90s.

Only a 90s kids would understand this, right? Amongst the array of cult shows that were present on TV back then, there was one underdog show which managed to win several hearts and became a classic.

That show was 'Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne' which aired on Doordarshan and had actor Raghubir Yadav playing the titular role, directed by Prakash Jha.

The show was one of the most amazing shows back then and had a perfect blend of comedy and emotions, thus making it an absolute treat.

And now, according to a leading news portal, this cult 90s show is all set to be revived for modern TV. Yes! That's right.

Sony TV, which currently has to itself the best lot of shows including shows like 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' and 'Beyhadh.' However, a good sitcom is still missing from the list, isn't it? And what better than reviving a classic and present it to the modern audience!

The best part about it is the original director of the series, Prakash Jha himself returns to helm this project.

The producer-director is in talks with Sony TV to come up with a way to present this concept for modern TV and it is in the nascent stage.
