Yami Gautam: While I am confident enough, the nervousness will always be present

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, has come a long way and carved out a niche for herself through the commercial projects she has chosen to work on. The actress, who has six films coming out this year, is especially excited for two of them – A Thursday and Lost – because she will be handling them alone for the first time. 

In terms of making the most of these opportunities, the actress told a news outlet that she is confident enough to headline on her own, but that nervousness will always be present. The actress explained that her nervousness stems from her love of acting and being a part of such exciting scripts. 

Yami completed six projects last year, during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. While it has been difficult, the actress has stated that 2021 will be one of the most significant years of her life. According to the actress, while the year was difficult and disappointing for everyone, a lot of things changed in her life, both personally and professionally.

Yami's next film will be 'Dasvi,' in which she will co-star with Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur. Aside from that, she will be seen in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's next film, in which she will play a journalist.
