Writer-producer Ved Raj, on participating in the upcoming season of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss

Writer-producer Ved Raj talks about his desire to contest a reality TV show like Bigg Boss in the future. Recently, Ved who is known for helming popular shows like Mera Saath Rahe (2021), Imlie (2020), Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega (2018) and Thapki Pyar Ki (2015) among others entered Salman Khan hosted show to back Avinash Mishra, one of the finalist in an open panel discussion was held, with media personnel.

He said, "I'm very happy being doing what I'm doing all this long. I enjoy the space behind the camera, where I can guide someone and make a product all myself. I enjoy writing the blank pages that in future can be a source of influence or entertainment for my audience. Since a very young age I enjoy or find excitement in sowing seeds of ideas. I never thought of participating in such shows. Infact this was for the first time in all these 18 seasons that I followed Bigg Boss. And this was only for Avinash and Chahat. As they were doing my show since a long time. I started watching for them and realised it was addictive. I watched all the episodes, after a point of time I was watching the show as it was fun, Avinash and Chahat didn't matter to me. Coming back to the question of contesting I'm clueless. May be Yes, May be No."

I never thought of participating in such shows. Infact this was for the first time in all these 18 seasons that I followed Bigg Boss. And this was only for Avinash and Chahat.

Expressing his views about non fiction shows, the popular writer of fiction series added, "I feel fiction and non fiction shows equally are the source of entertainment for our audience on a similar platform. Both the shows together brings more options to our audience and opportunities for our actors. And this is a fact that thora sa fiction har non fiction mein hota hai, aur thora sa non fiction har fiction mein hota hai. So they both complement eachother at the same time."

The six finalists of Bigg Boss 18 are Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Chum Darang, and Karan Veer Mehra. The much-anticipated finale of Bigg Boss 18 will air today (19th January, 2025).
