What left the air of anger among the masses is there was not a bit of remorse on his face. This documentary by a leading news channel has brought in light every single detail of 'Nirbhaya Case' - from the incident to the comments and views of the police department to what her parents think about the culprit and much more.
Rape, harassment, physical violence are the issues that should be pondered upon and take care off to make women feel safer in the society that they live in.
TellyBuzz got in touch with Toral Rasputra portraying a strong headed, self-dependent woman in Colors' Balika Vadhu who said, "After what that culprit said, I feel they should just hang him. Why do people think that girls should not get out of the house, WHY? Just because they are Girls? I do not believe in this. There are a lot of days when I pack up at 12 in the night or 10 in the night. So, I should stay back on the sets only. This is extremely stupid. It is very important for girls to learn self-defense which is very important these days. One cannot take girls for granted and you should respect them. Recently I had seen a picture where a modern girl is wearing a skirt and people are not staring at her. On the other side, there are two women walking in a Burkha people are continuously staring at them. It is your eyes, your vision that how do you want to look at things. I feel the mindset of the people should change."
We contacted Rajeshwari Sachdev, a seasoned actress and if we go by the work, she has shown diversity in the role she portrays, she speaks about the good and respect she faced as woman. "I have been very lucky and I am born in a family that loved me from the moment I entered the world. They were happy that they had a girl. I have had equal opportunities in life. I have never been treated as a boy but treated like a girl with a lot of respect. It is about the mindset of the people whether they want to listen to a woman or a man."
All said and done, women have the ultimate right just like men to go out and live their dream. It is the time for society and the perspective of the citizens to change.
TellyBuzz wishes success to the entire woman out there following their heart and living their dreams!
