Will Mahira’s character in Kundali Bhagya turn Positive? Swati Kapoor answers

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya is quite loved by the fans. The show is produced by Balaji Telefilms and has a stellar star cast including Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shraddha Arya, Manit Jaura, Anjum Fakih, Sanjay Gangnani, Swati Kapoor, Abhishek Kapoor among others. The current track of the show revolves around Mahira supporting Karan and Preeta against Sherlyn and Prithvi. The promo had Mahira exposing Sherlyn and Prithvi’s truth in front of the family. She announces that Prithvi is the father of Sherlyn’s child and not Rishab.

Watching the baddie Mahira helping out her arch rival Preeta came as a surprise for the viewers. India Forums got in touch with actress Swati Kapoor aka Mahira and asked her about the track and wheather her character would turn positive in the show. The petite actress said, “No, Mahira is not turning positive for sure. She helped Karan and Preeta only to keep her truth a secret. When I read the script, I was quite excited as it’s extremely unexpected. I remember the moment the promo was shared; we received a huge response. People were applauding Mahira and loving for what she did. I usually have a lot of hate clubs but still, I received a lot of love from the fans”.

When asked about her strategy to deal with hate comments, Swati said, “I usually don’t pay any heed to negativity, trolls or hate mails. I simply ignore them and if things go out hand, I block the trolls or anyone spreading negativity. So, yes, I don’t get affected by them”.

Expressing her joy on Kundali Bhagya completing four years, Swati said, “It’s an overwhelming feeling. It’s my first show to reach this milestone. I’ve completed two years playing Mahira in the show. Kundali Bhagya is set to complete 1000 episodes soon, which is again a big deal in today’s day and age of Television when TV shows struggle to survive even for a few episodes. I’m quite happy and proud to be a part of such a great show”.
