Evren Media planning will soon debut in the television space by launching a GEC. The channel will have the same name while it will air a couple of new in-house shows.

Sources have now suggested that the first in-house show is already on floors. The title of the show will be Sarangi Firangi, a musical comedy that will revolve around the lead characters Sarangi and Firangi. The show will also depict a special friendship between the two leads.

Sangeeta Rao, from Balaji Telefilms best known for directing, Kitani Mohabbat Hai will don the hat of the director yet again.

The shoot has already been started and as per sources the cast will soon head to Benaras to shoot their next schedule. The show and the channel will launch by the end of this year.

Mellisa Pais of Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo along with prominent actor Rajesh Dubey who was last seen in Naagin have been on boarded.

Rajveer Singh of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has also been finalised.

His closeted gay man's character will give the viewers a laughter riot.
