Who surprised Ankita Sharma on her birthday?

Actress Ankita Sharma who is seen in Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, turned a year older recently. The pretty actress was on cloud nine when she received a pleasant surprise from her fiance Mayank on her birthday.

In a chat with us, Ankita shares her childhood memories, one thing which she never fails to do on her birthday and more...

Talking about the celebration, Ankita says, "I was shooting on my birthday but it was a delightful moment for me to get a surprise from Mayank. I was happy to see all my close friends at home. Mayank gifted me a make up vanity and toe rings. It would have been a boring birthday but Mayank added the flavor of excitement in it."

Ask Ankita about one thing which she never fails to do on her birthday and she says, "I have a habit of visiting the temple every year. Till my 15th birthday my mother regularly used to take me to a beauty parlor for a hair cut."

When asked about her childhood memories, Ankita says, "I have many childhood memories. I was always treated like a princess by mom. My dress and accessories always matched with each other. On my 10th birthday my mother surprised me by organizing a huge party and gifting me a gold ring, so it was a memorable moment for me."

Lastly she says, "You have always supported me and accepted me in all the characters I have played so far and this time its Ashoka, so I hope to receive the same love."
