Who is replacing Mohit Malik in Doli Armaanon Ki?

The tussle between channels once again cropped up this year as actor Mohit Malik had to part ways with Zee TV as the channel wanted him to choose between Doli and Jhalak.  Mohit had already started preparing for his role of Shaurya and had been working out and trying to look younger as the actor was to play a 27 year old.  But when the channel put down their foot and asked the actor to choose, the actor chose Jhalak and hence the hunt was on for Shaurya's character.  

Wondering who is the new Shaurya?

The talented actor Kunal Karan Kapoor who was last seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 will be seen playing the role of Shaurya.  He will be seen essaying a positive role of a boy who is very close to his mother Urmi (now will be played be Manasi Salvi) and hates his biological father Samrat for ruining their lives.

We tried contacting Kunal Karan Kapoor, but he remained unavailable for the comment. We also tried call Pearl, the producer of the show, but her phone remained out of reach.
