Star Plus' recently launched show Naamkarann has been keeping its audience glued to their TV sets with its gripping storyline and brilliant performances of the cast. .

The upcoming track will bring in some high voltage drama in the show as already showed in the promos. It will so happen that Daya (Reema Lagoo) who has been against Ashish (Viraf Phiroz Patel) and Asha's (Barkha Bisht Sengupta) relationship will take a huge step by deciding to set herself on fire.

This track is supposed to be a very important and crucial sequence for the show, hence to direct the same, acclaimed filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is also the producer of the show, personally came on the sets. The whole scene was shot under his observation and guidance.

We spoke to Viraf Phiroz Patel, who told us, "Yes, Maheshji was present on the set as it was one of the important scenes. It was a wonderful experience to shoot with Maheshji and also Reema Lagoo for that matter. Both of them are so much experienced."

"Also, I would like to add that there was this one scene where I just told him how I would like to do a particular scene, to which Maheshji told me that I should do it the same way as my instinct says. It was really sweet of him to do so. Having so much of experience, he still believed in my instinct."
